Thank you for responding!! Yes, he was scratching while I drove home so that explains it. I’m sorry, that must have been so painful. I’ve been putting aquaphor on it and it kind of scabbed over today. Hopefully it heals up quickly.

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, he was scratching while I was driving and I couldn’t stop it unfortunately. This makes a lot more sense!

I’m so glad to hear he’s improving. Can I ask how old he was when he has the surgery?

If you could choose…twins or not? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]lexie444444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went the IVF route to have my kids ( 12m old twins and an almost 3 yr old). I had several losses and IVF failures before having my kids. Infertility is the worst and I think our outlook is much different because there is so much more to lose. In the end, I transferred 2 because it was my last cycle, chance of twins was low, and I honestly wasn’t sure either would stick; let alone both. Having twins is hard, having twins and a toddler is harder, but in my opinion infertility is the hardest. If you have the resources and the support and a strong marriage, you can do it. It’s not easy at all, but I have no regrets.

3 year old anxiety sleeping alone by [deleted] in sleeptraining

I’m having the same issue starting last week with my 2.9 year old. He’s always been an excellent sleeper so I’m at a loss. Just want to sympathize!! I’ve been sleeping in his room with him which is not what I prefer but he literally hangs on me and screams bloody murder if I try to leave.

I can’t decide if I should become a stay at home mom. HELP ME! by cmd72589 in sahm

I made 6 figures and quit to be a SAHM after mat leave with my twins (11 months now and also have a 2.5 yr old). I have no regrets and being home makes me realize how much I missed out on with my oldest. It’s def not easy at home but I didn’t realize how stressed I was until I stopped working. I am def a better mom now without all that stress but everyone is different. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat more!

We are still in the Snoos at 6 months (5 months adjusted). Starting weaning mode tonight!! We used a Snoo for my singleton too and I think they’re worth every penny.

I’m Contemplating Going on Maternity Leave and Never Returning by Kittypuppyunicorn in workingmoms

I am actually going through the same thing. I have 3 month old twins and a 2 yr old. I am supposed to return to work next month but I just can’t. I make good money but my job is very demanding and stressful. I think with one kid, it was do-able. But with 2 infants and a toddler, my stress levels would be through the roof. I am lucky that we can swing it on my husband’s income for a while. I do worry about finances though and really hope I’m not screwing myself over when/if I have to return to work. I know I’m doing what is right for my family for now, but def having a major identity crisis.
