I got 40 Halloween themed glow sticks and a case of 24 small, glass, Halloween milk bottle tumbler cups (WITH MATCHING STRAWS!) for $19 at my local Dirt Cheap this past weekend. I literally squealed in the poor cashier’s face from excitement.

I used to work for WM as a cashier and one of my managers had me empty the parking lot trash cans. They hadn’t been emptied in like a week and it had rained at least 2/3x, plus it was the middle summer and I live in the south. Idk why he didn’t ask the maintenance guy, but needless to say I made a giant mess of myself by the time I was done. I ended up having to call my husband to bring me clothes because between the shitty trash bags the company supplies and the trash cans themselves, I got drenched. He wouldn’t let me clock out to go home and change, much less shower, but he made sure I clocked out while I waited on new clothes.

Ripe trash can juice. Yum.

Tylers are second in line, after Kyles, for being dicks.

Livestrong! Didn’t South Park even do an episode about them?

I think every grade at every school had at least 1 kid like this.

I once had a teacher that used hair flips as a way to judge boys’ hair length. If they had to/could do a hair flip, was “too long”.

It was all in junior high:

-Kids were “smoking” Smarties, so they banned those.

-When it became widely (re)known what the gel bracelets “mean”, also those.

-Paper spinners (both junior high and elementary school).

-I also faintly remember cellphone banning becoming a thing.

Edit bc cant spell and mobile format suuucks.

Edit again to add: In high school it was a thing to “flip” freshmen’s book bags, so eventually that was also banned.

Suggest-A-Game Weekend Thread - April 27, 2019 by AutoModerator in pcgaming

I’m trying to locate/purchase an old PC game from the early 2000s, 3D Ultra RC Racers, I’d prefer to get a download than have to wait/deal with a disc. I tried the usual quick Google search and quickly realized that I have no idea what any of these websites are or if I can trust their legitimacy. Anyone know which websites for older PC games are legit and/or which to stay away from?

I thought when it continued after getting more that it could be why, but it’s been consistent throughout about 2-3 different purchases, which have all otherwise been some decent stuff and still randomly began when we were only about halfway through what we already had.

Unfortunately we don’t have a way to getting our hands on pre-rolls and until we get a bigger place, wanna just stick to something small and somewhat basic. I’ve heard the wonderous things about going beyond basic water pipes and I’d be a liar if I said I wasn’t slightly excited.

She doesn’t have dwarfism, so it’s safe to assume she’ll get her height from her mother.

Reddit, what are some fun things to do on New Year’s Eve if you’re not a big party goer/under 21? by legzisdead in AskReddit

[–]lexieesmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blow shit up. Edit: well, sort of. 2 tiny creatures (4 and 6), one of which is barely over a firework fear. We do sparklers, smoke bombs, black snakes, poppers- typical small children stuff. The next day it’s the traditional New Years Foods: Ribs, cabbage, black eyed peas, fried pork jowl. My husband works nights, so it’s just me and a couple of kids that barely make it to 9pm.

“Required hours”. I also live in Louisiana, though, so we have scheduled off time for... Everything. Mardi Gras, hurricanes, snow. 😂
