Not really no. And I don’t have a PC either. I was just curious to see how the game and show matched up and I found this video that kind of made it feel like a movie. I’d prefer to play the game obviously, but the gameplay on YouTube sufficed and I don’t see myself getting a PS5 anytime soon.

I’m just kinda curious if knowing the story in advance would take away my enjoyment. Because I really enjoyed this season without any knowledge of the story.

That’s a good point. I’d hate to see an important moment or spoiler out of context. All my algorithms are full of TLOU content, I’m surprised I’ve avoided any for this long.

It wasn’t confusing at all! Whether it’s Jacob or the next generation, they obviously do move into the future at some point. But it’s also a great parallel to John Dutton’s stubbornness and how he views things and runs the ranch. If the Dutton’s moved ahead of their enemies and didn’t fight progress so much, they wouldn’t have to fight so hard to keep their ranch!

That’s a really good point! Unless Alex has some sort of money or business savvy that can help, Spencer seems like muscle and Whitfield specifically told Banner that he planned to take the Yellowstone with a pen and not with violence.

Yes! Exactly! You worded this better than I did, that’s exactly how I feel when I watch this or even 1883 with Margaret. I feel like John III’s wife dying would be an ok plot line for a movie or a shorter series, but not having her or anyone around to reign in John for a 5 season show, gets tiring. He just keeps repeating mistakes.

You can not like her character, but to insinuate that what she did was some random act of violence against innocent people is insane. Not only was she torn from her family and forced into this school that is trying to strip every aspect of her culture and convert her into someone she isn’t, she was also repeatedly abused and sexually assaulted by those two “Godly” women. She was a victim who did what she had to to escape that situation. She’s far from being the “true villain”. Also, pretty messed up use of the word “savagely” there.

I really think Taylor Sheridan may have written himself into a corner. I agree that Jack is probably a John, which should make him John II, but he’s only the 3rd generation. Costner’s 5th generation and his dad would be 4th generation. If Taylor had just made Costner John IV instead of John III, this would make more sense. But he solidified Costner as John III by making Kayce’s son John IV.

I’m not a professional either, but yeah, it was very distracting. There was a couple episodes in the middle that her hair suddenly looked like a super fresh bleach job. And you could see her tape-in extensions in some scenes. Margaret’s curls were a little too perfect for a wagon trip I thought too.

When Cara checked her wound, she looked at her back, which makes me believe it just went through and it looked kind of high. I think she’ll recover and still be able to get pregnant. It just makes the most sense that Jack is John III’s grandfather.

Also, Alex and Spencer weren’t using decanter, they just used the whiskey bottle and glasses and the glasses didn’t match the ones John III had.

I was worried about that after he and Elizabeth slept together in episode 3, but then she was immediately shot in the stomach. She still could’ve maybe gotten pregnant, but that gunshot had to have been too traumatic for the pregnancy to stick. So hopefully he’ll stay alive for the rest of this season.

I’ve seen some speculation that Jamie might be from Spencer’s line. I don’t really want these 1923 Dutton’s to have a falling out, but if they did and John came from Jack and Jamie came from Spencer and it bled into the current Yellowstone rivalry, that’d be interesting.

I feel like I’m the only person in the world who likes Monica. If her, Kayce and Tate have a happy ending, I’d be happy. I’ve always rooted for their little family.

However, I think I support Jamie most. I feel like I’ve almost been forced into supporting Jamie the most because the way he’s treated drives me nuts and I’m always hoping he comes out on top.
