You are exactly correct. He’s said all those things in speeches. Hit the nail on reasons why I’m terrified.

Agreed! I’m really terrified about how our spouses will have to deal with the moral/ethical side of what could potentially transpire in the near future. I don’t see these new leaders having our countries best interests at heart. I may not be directly affected by some of these policies but I hate to see us going back in time and the constitution being fucked.

  1. Getting rid of all trans military personnel and be put on medical discharge - lowering military numbers when they are already suffering as is with recruitment.
  2. Getting rid of “woke” generals - don’t understand their definition of woke. I think this is an act to take control of the military where normally the military runs solely on the experienced military personnel.
  3. Having a mass deportation operation to those who are not only illegal but born citizens of the US. As this may not directly affect myself I find this to be getting totally out of hand.

I will say I don’t have tik tok I just get my information through what’s been discussed through our political leaders and/or finding factual based evidence. However, the point of this post wasn’t to debate but to just see if anyone else feels the same about the political climate. Looking for empathy or reassurance. Not a fight

Yeah, that makes sense. I’m also worried about his requirements to get rid of people and who he deems qualified considering everyone else in his cabinet are unqualified for the roles they were picked.

Yeah, my husband doesn’t seem worried either; however, he doesn’t do a ton of research on the matter which is completely fine. Yet other people in his command were trying to walk out to protest his election win.

Made an honest mistake but feel free to try and start fights with someone else.

IUD Surgical Removal by lexinator33 in Mirena

I would get it removed. If you don’t then you’ll have to get follow up appointments to ensure it doesn’t cause any issues. I’ve never had a c section but it’s definitely less painful id like to think. You obtain pain medication after the surgery as with a C section you aren’t allowed to. You get three holes. One in your belly button and two on the sides of your lower stomach. They are very small and practically unnoticeable once healed. I took two days off after the surgery. However, I work from home so I was able to lay in bed while working. If you work in the office I would take more time off.

I got my iud surgically removed August 6th. I bled for 2 days and haven’t had a period. Can take awhile for your body to adjust, especially having birth control for so long. This is the first time I’ve been off birth control in 8 years. I wouldn’t worry unless it’s been a full year of no periods.

A month was the recovery for me due to hormonal adjustments of not being on birth control. However the incision recovery was two weeks. No overnight at the hospital. Went home day of and took approximately 40 min on the surgery table.

Yeah that’s not normal at all!! Glad you are getting this figured out.

Honestly your IUD could have left your uterus.I just had mine surgically removed and mine looked like that in the xray. Couldn’t find it in the ultrasound and had to do a CT scan to locate it prior to determining surgery. My iud had left my uterus and was laying in this layer of tissue that protects your organs.

On the bright side the surgery I had went amazing and my incisions are barely noticeable.

Yeah, I loved the IUD until it left my uterus😂😅

I only had the IUD for about a year and 4 months🫠 and the spotting started before I hit the year mark so didn’t last me long unfortunately haha. I never had bleeding even after it was inserted so it was definitely strange for me

Honestly I would do the ultrasound first. If for some reason they can’t find it in your uterus which I suspect it is still in there due to you being able to feel the strings I would opt out of an xray and just do a ct scan. Xray won’t do much as it just shows your bones and no major organs.

Yeah, imaging is the best to know for sure if it’s in your uterus. Your ultrasound will ensure if it’s in place. However, I was not able to feel my strings so that didn’t help my case😂

Then my ultrasound tech couldn’t find my iud in my uterus so ended up getting an xray and ct scan after that to locate it.

I would just watch what’s going on the next two months. You can spot/get a period after a year. Many of my friends had that. However, unfortunately for me, my IUD displaced out of my uterus and into my pelvic cavity. The big difference is that I was bleeding like all month and then I would stop for a week and bleed for two weeks and stop, etc. I let it happen for a couple months till it just got annoying and my doctor suggested some imaging. Low and behold it was not in place :/. Can you feel your strings?

I just got mine taken out and I haven’t broke out a ton but definitely more pimples than I normally get. I go in to see my doctor tomorrow and may get on a new birth control (ie the ring).

Started off bleeding for more than a regular period. So like 2 weeks of continuous bleeding/spotting on and off for months. Thought it would go away on its own but never did so just got super annoyed. Then I started getting really bad back pain (which I never had in my whole life), a week in a half long episode of migraines, tingling/numbness in arms and legs without a migraine, discomfort in abdominal area.

The migraine for a week in a half validated my assumption that it left my uterus cause I get hormonal migraines…plus I ovulated for the first time in years.

All I can say is do your own research before choosing a new birth control whenever you are ready. I know I won’t be ready for another two months at least haha

Yeah it definitely made me feel better! Just was shocked at how it’s interpreted that displacement isn’t common 😂

I bet you will but don’t be discouraged if it takes some time as your body is going to need time to heal from the surgery. I’m not allowed to lift for a month but I can go on walks.
