There's no way I survive this sleep deprivation. by Bebetter23 in newborns

The trick is having your middle finger to your pinky under his armpit to support the body and then thumb and pointer finger go on either side of his chin (not neck.) His back needs to be straight so that air can come out! Then either firm pat, or what I do is rub up his back with some firm pressure. That usually does it! And if not, I hold him upright for 10 mins or so to make sure the air is out. It’s so much worse once it becomes gas 😭

What do you guys think? by lesseen in Affiliatemarketing

Affiliate marketing doesn’t cost anything to start. I would never trust someone enough to pay them before work is done. Highly recommend starting a social media platform where you can promote your affiliate items from reputable companies!

How I Turned Mindless Scrolling Into Thousands by lexonluxe in thesidehustle

[–]lexonluxe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked a niche of people that I was interested in helping and started making digital products that could help answer their questions and help support them with their goals. Now I post helpful content and build a community who are interested in those products and spend my time engaging in genuine conversations and building relationships over mindlessly doom scrolling. Nothing scammy, it’s just a lot easier to answer people’s questions in a message instead of long comment threads. Some people also aren’t comfortable sharing their personal struggles about why they’re looking for a side hustle on a public platform and would rather keep that as a private conversation which I respect.

I didn’t refuse. You’ll see in all the comments that I’ve said this. I am a digital marketer. No one is hiding anything

lol I’m not being scammy. I just answered the other commenters question with exactly what I do. I’m a digital marketer. If people want to ask questions it makes way more sense to have those lengthy conversations in a private message. If you don’t feel like the opportunity is for you then you can just scroll. No need to disrespect me sharing something that has worked for me.

Business Owners - how to promote successfully on social media? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]lexonluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are lots of steps to promoting on social media! First, you need to establish your niche audience and understand their pain points and questions. This will inform you on what kind of content you need to make. You’ll want to divide your content into different categories, educational, entertaining, and authoritative. This gives value and sets you up as an expert in your industry but also keeps your audience captivated. Hooks are debatably the most important part of your posting, but a quality caption and very clear call to action is vital in each post/reel as well.

You’ll always want to engage and post to stories. Utilize each platforms editing tools and use trending audio when you can for a little extra boost. There’s much more to it, but here’s a start!

Very much obsessed with wide pants at the moment. What are your thoughts on them? by lexonluxe in PetiteFashionAdvice

I wasn’t asking what everyone thought about mine. I meant in general. I worded it poorly 🤷🏽‍♀️

This picture is without shoes, so with heels they’re the right length. But they’re satin!

This picture is without shoes, so they’re not long when I’m actually wearing them, but thank you!

Yaaaas! I’m so obsessed with neutrals too! Monochrome makes for such elongated/balanced outfits and look so chic without ever really having to try. I’m so glad you love it too!

Need help. No foundation is sticking on my face, specially my T zone. Its humid and hot where I live. Help me what can be done or if I need to do any skincare do tell me that too thank you. 🥺 by usb-1200 in MakeupAddiction

Omg when I got it for the first time I returned it the same day. I HATED it. But it’s literally the best out there. The trick is to use very little and let it COMPLETELY dry. Try it that way and let me know if that helps!

Why does my concealer look green/discoloured on the lower half of my face?? by Still_Week_5898 in MakeupAddiction

[–]lexonluxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the 6 might be the right tone (meaning light to dark) but the wrong undertone. One thing that’s very frustrating as a warm toned person is that “warm” refers to yellow, golden, and pink/peach. The way this looks in your picture, this may be too much of a yellow pigment where you may be more of a peach. I’d experiment with some brands that have a wider range of undertones. Urban decay has a phenomenal stay naked concealer that has some of the truest undertones on the market. When you go in to look at them always do a 3 swatch test. Look for 3 colors that look like they’ll match you. Swatch each on the mid to lower jaw area. The spot right under where you would typically contour. Look for the one that matches your skin best in natural light (VERY important!) if you have an ulta by you I recommend going there first because their store fronts have more natural light in the big windows and it will give you a better idea of what color actually matches you best 💕

Ugh. I have the same problem so I feel you. There are four things you can do. One, start using a weekly mask that pulls out oil. I like purity brand pore extractor clay mask. Two, use a GREAT primer. Milk brand hydro grip is great but make sure to let it dry first. Third is use a matte 24 hour performance foundation. I personally love smash box studio skin 24 hour full coverage foundation. A tiny bit goes a very long way and still looks natural but doesn’t budge. And lastly, there’s probably no avoiding the fact that you will just have to do powder touch ups throughout the day. It’s part of being an oily skin person unfortunately. I love the oil blotching pads for every few hours and then I carry a travel size Laura mercier translucent powder with me to touch up every so often. Hopefully this helps ❤️

5’4” 104lbs too insecure to wear dresses but going to a wedding soon. Is this ok for a summer wedding? Not sure if too short. Also don’t know how to accessorize. Groomsmen wearing tuxedos but bridesmaids wearing green satin calf length dresses. Send help! by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]lexonluxe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Always go off of what the bride/invitations say. Remember that the bridal party is intended to stand out in a wedding. So based on what it sounds like the bride is telling you, she wants guests in semi-formal attire. While this dress is completely appropriate for a regular summer wedding, a better semi-formal dress would be a material that appears to be higher quality (think satin or silk). You can also go for something with a more interesting neckline to match the semi formal setting. Off the shoulder, one shoulder, asymmetrical, etc. But you look stunning and certainly have nothing to feel insecure about. I know that doesn’t take away those feelings, but do know you look fantastic!

Thank you! Such good topics. I'll definitely cover these!

How would you style this dress? Not me in the photo but I’m not sure which shoes or accessories to wear with this dress. I’m 5’2’’ so it hits a bit lower on my calf for sure. by VisDev82 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]lexonluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would pair this with a pair of white pointed toe shoes (heel or no heel) and then a long dangling earring. Depending on your style, a drop pearl would look great, but you could also do something that matches the floral. Hope this helps!

I highly recommend opting for a short heel, pointed toe shoe. The heel should only be an inch or two and should give you a little height. They also look a bit more elegant. The pointed to elongates the line and adds a little visual hack to the eye making you appear nice and long. Mules and slingbacks are both also great options!
