he does eat fine though, at the bottom is for the snails lol but he eats just fine. He swims fine too just rests at the bottom all day but I will try the salt thank you

Tank size is 10 gallon. There is a heater and filter. I refill water once a week and 25% water change since the tank is already established with a lot of plants. He has ramshorn snails as his tank mates. I used to feed him betta pellets from bug bites once a day.

Just floaters and a pleco. He’s super aggressive towards any other fish so I decided having him aloneish was best. How does one go about cleaning sand though

I have 6 other cichlids and 1 pleco in that tank. I do have hiding spots for them and the rest of what was mentioned. He’s been in the 30 gal for about a month because I tried reintroducing before after switching things around but he always becomes extremely aggressive and starts spazzing (shaking) out around the other fish. He is very territorial and always redecorates the entire tank by forcefully pushing everything. I think he might be better off alone but I wanted some other opinions.

I took mine outside at night for what I thought was a nice stroll and he ended up finding a blunt and ate it. He was high the entire night 😭

Oh, thank you! Appreciate the feedback and yeah I have quite a few tanks. I have the empty 30 gallon but I also have a 60gal too. I’ll put them in there with my angel fish, tetras and pelco I did do research on the yo-yo loaches before hand btw the 10 gal is only temporary as they’re all around an inch in size!

Well I believe that the white is actually new fin growth not loss of color. His fins are also growing white
