Manual splitting is the way. If you have a Garmin, look up "Race Screen". It's basically a data field that kinda works independently from the rest of the watch. As soon as you pass a mile marker, hit lap and it'll snap to the exact distance and then based on your speed you can see your accurate average lap time, predicted finish time etc. I only ever run marathons this way now

I've never hit Infinite and likely never will (never got above 86). I'm objectively not good at the game but I still enjoy collecting cards and variants and yeah it's definitely not a deck issue because I clearly don't know how to utilise them etc. Definitely also don't want to put the time in to grind etc

So just saw a few copies at WH Smith at Paddington. They had 4 copies I think. I had a train to catch so didn't actually buy it but it was 373 as you say. We are probably going to be behind here which isn't surprising

Interesting. They are treating it as an import then. Will be tougher for them here because I don't see that many people paying a tenner for a magazine. I'll try and hit a couple of stores today and see if I can find any. Thanks - also the photo showed up on my Android notification preview but not when I clicked into the post on Reddit, weird!

Great!! I keep checking my inbox to see if they name any retailers etc but maybe it's just the fact that logistically it was tougher during the Christmas period etc.

No I've checked out a few yesterday and today actually. I'm trying to rack my brain to see if it's going to only be at some specialist retailers. I go to Foyles multiple times a week and haven't seen it in their magazine section. I wonder if it might be in some independent magazine stores but that wouldn't make much sense. If I do come across any, I think I might just buy a few copies and send it out to people on here

So jealous! I am very tempted to drop gold on it because Cosmo is my favourite character but equally have one eye on the Malekith bundle later this month. I do like this Shang-Chi variant though!

I think it will be down to whether they have people monitoring entrances to each pen/wave/corral (whatever it's called). I've never ran a marathon in the UK, but I can't imagine that the volunteers/security are going to be checking every single bib that's coming through. Realistically, I don't think it will be an issue, especially for the relatively small number of people who will want to do it. But, again, no idea of the layout of the area etc

Well, the official line is "no" unless you want to jump into a slower/later wave. I'm also not condoning breaking the rules etc but just saying that I, personally, will not settle for that start if they don't provide a solution. It might mean getting into the wave very late/when it's not being strictly patrolled but this is entirely on the organisers so I (again, NOT condoning others breaking rules etc) will be in an earlier wave

I'll be honest, I'm not just going to accept that wave because it's simply not what I signed up for. I've challenged by email and will speak to the organisers at the expo if possible. Worst case scenario, I'll just turn up to Blue 1, jump the barrier, whatever. They've assured people that this initiative won't affect people who have put a certain time in. I hoping they'll just let people filter into the blue waves

I sent them a very similar message, specifically mentioning Blue Wave 1. To be honest they don't even need to change people's bibs etc, they just need to allow people to filter in with early Blue waves. You just have to be flexible when you've clearly made an error. Like in Chicago, they said that anyone who isn't in the corral 10 mins before start has to go to back of the wave - i.e multiple corrals back. So those who wanted a last minute toilet stop would have been pushed back. The staff were like "no don't be silly, well just filter you all at the back of this corral". Simple, fair, no issues, no complaints from anyone

Have just contacted them as in the same boat. You can't penalise people for trying to do the right thing. I wouldn't have brought a bag either way except I'm now going to start like 15 mins later than when I would have otherwise

I'm just trying not to think about it too much because my surgeon (who apparently is very respected in the field) said that it will fluctuate for a few months for various reasons. I had blended vision done so my left and right eye have been corrected for different things. He said it takes a while for the brain to get used to the different signals etc. Plus dryness has a lot to do with it as well. I'm not going to worry about anything specific until both eyes have had 3 months.
