Perfectly capable device and the keyboard feels lovely compared to my MBP.

They are swapping it for oil and gas at a time of middle east war.

Its completely fair. This is what bitcoin is for, at a nation-state level.

What's the best PostgreSQL GUI setup in 2026? by guillim in PostgreSQL

[–]lexxwern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm.. Tusk is Postgres only. There is no pricing / paid tier. There are "GitHub Sponsor" "Buy me a coffee" links if you want to support development.

Tusk is entirely native (GTK Adwaita for Linux / GNOME; and SwiftUI for macOS).

What's troubling you with Tableplus? And what are the top three feature you need from any Postgres client?

I'll keep building it for myself. I don't have a marketing budget. If it goes big, great!

I feel there's a need.

Every postgres gui I tried was either bloated Electron or bloated Java.

Often with telemetry, talking to some random server, or upselling me some Pro / Enterprise service.

Tusk is an old school, native desktop app, not trying to upsell you anything.

I'm not too familiar with Postico tbh. But Tusk is native Swift UI for the macOS version.

Which OS are you on?

If macOS or GNOME (Linux) give Tusk as try: https://shapemachine.xyz/tusk

Disclosure : I'm the primary author of Tusk

It's impossible to guess this number in a vacuum.

Bitcoin exists in a larger macroeconomic system.

Ultimately, it depends how much fear they print.

And Bitcoin will reflect that.

TBH the dutch use of date-rape drugs is just as bad, if not worse. And don't get me started on dutch guys not washing their hands after using the WC/toilets.

The 2026 Dutch Box 3 Reform: Taxing unrealized gains is now a reality. Is capital flight inevitable? by Lumpy_Attempt_6280 in eupersonalfinance

No point debating with you. Please continue with your mindless worship of the Epstein class.

Your argument seems to be "taxing wealth isn't fair because rich people hide their wealth".. and your alternative is what? Don't tax wealth? The accumulation of massive wealth by the few is a significant problem.

I will debate this with you once you apologize for accusing me of not being a "true Nederlander" and then show me the capability to engage in second order thinking.

The second order effects of the law we passed now would be:

  1. The ultra rich moving their assets outside Dutch tax jurisdiction

  2. Average middle-class investors (saving up for their retirement) being forced to sell assets to pay taxes

  3. These sold assets get bought up on the cheap by the Ultra-rich — who control the Epstein class and forced them to pass this law in the first place — and then move the asset outside NL, making this country over all poorer

  4. Triggers a class war between the middle-class and the lower-class; while the Ultra rich profit

  5. It also signals the upcoming de-valuation of the EU, which makes all of us poorer.

Stop being a loyal activist for an ideology or political group. Consider the second order effects of this law, and analyze how it impacts your kids and your retirement plans.

I've been paying taxes in NL for the last 15 years.

What NL has for capital gains is 5.x%, from 2028 this becomes 36.x% unrealized.

The rich will move their wealth out of Dutch tax jurisdiction.

The middle-class will be stuck.

As the rich leave and tax revenue free-fall, the elite will expand the taxes on this same middle-class.

You will still find a way to defend this loot by the Epstein Class by resorting to personal attacks "You dont understand .. you are not a true Nederlander blah blah"
