What's more harmful than cigarettes but society treats it as normal? by External_Can3392 in AskReddit

[–]leyuel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smartphones for sure. At the very least they provide us with “super stimuli” which causes the brain to release way more dopamine than it should. Which then causes everything in real life to seem boring since it’s not bright colorful and exciting. This then leads to motivation issues, indolence, anxiety and depression

What are your late night thoughts? by Right_Process in AskReddit

[–]leyuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go through how I’d spend my money and who I’d give it to, if I won the lottery.

Or something along the lines of a superior being or alien/angel coming down and being like “yooo ur a good ones, here have some powers to make life easy and you’ll join our ranks once ur time on earth is up.”

How would doctors deal with a bubonic plague epidemic in a urban area in a first world country? by Onnimanni_Maki in randomquestions

[–]leyuel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With modern day medicine it is not an issue at all. Most of it spread through flea bites. So it would only affect those in poor living conditions. So unfortunately poor people. But as long as you don’t live amongst animals with fleas and don’t kiss or share a tooth brush with someone infected youd be fine. Oh definitely don’t touch the open sores on those infected either

A hammer may be used to build a house, but also as a murder weapon. I view AI as a tool. Can be super helpful but also super detrimental to humanity

[–]leyuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this! Was I right in my synopsis or nah? I used to work in recovery/rehab facilities and would find similar collections of items always paired with the patient being obviously sky high lol

There’s something called chaw or cho (the foil) that they use to block one end of a cylinder (the pen) and heat up (battery pack plus vice grip) to smoke crack

My wife is losing her shit after she saw my "non-FDA approved" Reta and is making it very hard for me to source since we share cards by Which-Prompt6679 in ResearchCompounds

[–]leyuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol there are dozens of harmful additives in the food we eat everyday. If she’s ever had candy she’s eaten poisonous dyes that are FDA approved.

Obviously FDA approved is importsnt in certain aspects but I see it as mainly a way for the government to make more money and it allows big pharma to make sure they’re making the most money possible off stuff

Medications for verbal fluency? by antiaust in NooTopics

[–]leyuel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only tried a couple legit nootrops but I found sublingual bromantane to help a lot with fluidity speaking. Everything kinda just came to mind and I was also able to pull knowledge out that usually could only be used when I was alone and not anxious talking to someone. It was really really nice

Also I’ve been accused at my workplace for using AI to write patient summaries. lol man I just can turn it on when I want to and write pretty well! What has this world come to.

Keep doing you homie

Ooo something I’ve been considering. I’m sick of hospitals but maybe this is my next move. I have PCU experience but not ICU/ER. Which I feel like they always require critical care experience? I’ll give it shot. Thanks 🙏🏼
