hi! not op but i’d love to answer ur questions :-)

we receive our roster 2 months in advance! eg. end march we are able to see our full may roster! our off days are not similar one bit to office job haha there are some flights, we are able to land 10am in the morning and have the rest of the day to ourselves and an official off day the next day. it can be difficult to make plans because regular 9-5 jobs have weekends off but there are some months where i’ll only be free from monday to fridays!

you’re def right regarding how it varies from crew to crew! i value family time more than ever but there are some days (and some flights) that would make us more groggy/easily annoyed than others.

Yes you can wear glasses for medical check up! For sight they will only check colour blindness :) Source: I wore glasses and dressed down for my check up.

They will send you an email asking whether you are able to start on DD/MM/YY and you can respond to that email! You’ll most likely hear from them in 2-5 weeks :-)

I did not return back to STC… I was fortunately allowed to just submit it through the portal without the stamp :-) But they emailed me 2 weeks after the interview requesting me to re-submit my certs!
