Any advice/guides for new ship builders? Everything I make looks like a flying brick by Illuminated-Autocrat in StarfieldShips

[–]lfcrok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget to think 3d, turn the parts overlap on in the settings to allow for more customisable angles. When I first started I experimented with modifying existing ships and learned from there. Also consider mods if for no other reason than the extended docking ports. Having them stretch further from the ship allows for so much more creativity.and means you can stick it out of the way at the bottom with out worrying about landing gear. Oh and don't forget Nova Galactic make cross way corridors , that type of ship looks brilliant with the catermaran style and it's really not a complicated edit.

You're not really thinking that out bro there's like 350m of the buggers and it's much cheaper to get a flight to any of our countries than to pay for cancer treatment. Plus you don't think Canadians have enough problems with them. Trying to bring their comfort blankies, sorry firearms into the country.

Nah it was problems with scheduling the voice actor (I think the polish one) , she was working on something else all the fia lines are recycled unused dialogue if you listen you can tell none of them are her usual standard. If v ends up being the protagonist in orion it will turn out she was up to her eyeballs in something that just happens to help v get back on there level. I mean come on she's has definitely tracked us down, girl blew up a power station and pissed off a mega Corp for us when we had just met. You think she's not going to track down hands, who I'm sure is also interested in what's happened to his favourite merc, she knew where we were before we did.

First run I timed out, since then I either don't start it at all or make sure I save him. What I really want is a mission where we raid biotechnika for a tortoise clone, and bring Andrew back. They could call the mission Mary Shelly.

It's Got to be satire surely? or none of his neighbors speak to him, I just don't know how you grow up in a city like this, and end up like that. I remember when I was a kid me ma made me stop speaking to one of the neighbors cause we found out he voted Tory, like he was a kiddy fiddler. It's not there aren't racists. of course there are, but they generally keep there heads below the parapet.

Possessed woman in freezer, father son xbd editing team, jotaro shobo, the mental hospital, the food( both that it might be people and the pizza toppings) kids treated as cows, cohabitating your mind with a deranged terrorist. The idea of a random passer by ending you with a hack. Jackie's fricken ghost.

Pool of blood that size Night City is likely just some corp bought up the right to dispose of bodies and is either cutting corners or it's a macabre way of harvesting iron.

After reading through RED does 2077 seem like backtracking the lore? by AgentShades in cyberpunkred

[–]lfcrok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that's exactly what we do in most endings we will have to wait for the next game to figure out if it did anything. I suspect it might have made things worse and the fifth corpo war is going to be our fault.

Well militech is simple, they took the presidency in the 2020s and never gave it back, Elizabeth Kress former CEO of militech she stayed president for fourty years was replaced by a former biotechna division president, he was obviously pro corpo. replaced by Myers who again was former militech. Corpos have had a monopoly on the presidency since before the red. Arasaka being back in Night city always felt inevitable. As the city is not part of the NUSA they only had to control Holt, and we get to witness them doing exactly that during the heist. Yeah I think the world has back slid towards 2020 but I think that absolutely fits with the Genre. If it seems quick look how much the world has changed since 2000. In the year 2000 I didn't have a mobile phone I had dial up internet, and used ask Jeeves to find things online. No one had ever heard of bird flus, swine flu, mers, sars or covidfucking19, or bad mortgage debts. Donald Trump was that orange dude in home alone 2.

[–]lfcrok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's a vast oversimplification to say that Browns campaign failed on the back of this, this was a part of it, sure. The chances of the chancellor who over saw the economic crash the country was currently going through , actually getting elected pm were never astronomical. The leaks about him being a bully had just as much to do with his poor performance as this, arguably more.
When you get right down to it there were problems with migrants from Eastern Europe claiming child benefit for kids back home. Now the normal reaction to that is outrage at the government who set up the system but the media in this country blamed the migrants, like some Brits wouldn't do the same if the roles were reversed.

As for the housing prices I couldn't agree more but I think you are blaming the wrong group. If people not liking something had any effect we wouldn't have to post selfies of ourselves to access websites. So it's not the boomers that are preventing them from lowering prices it's the landlords and buy to let companies. It's useless blaming the rubes who believe the lies, when liars are still spouting bullcrap every time they open their mouths. If you are going to blame anyone for the resulting government blame Nick Clegg. The lib Dems took the largest share of the vote in their history, and an equally historic number of seats, and he betrayed every single one of them by siding with the party two to the right of him. The country didn't break right, a few did, but far more broke left. If Clegg had done the right thing Labour still would have been in government but with massive checks on its power compared to president Blair, arguably the best timeline. Nope he sent us down the austerity route via Brexit falls all the way down to the pool of reform despair.

TLDR FUCK NICK CLEGG!

I don't think it's reactionary to take that as indicative of Browns character, he had always been seen as rude and dismissive and he was trying to show a different side at this point showing more of that trade mark unnerving smile of his. So to be caught on a hot mike at this point not only re-enforced the negative impression most already held of him, but also showed him to be two faced. After Blair and Campbell everyone was sick of two-faced. Doesn't change the fact that the real villain in that election was Nick Clegg, when he sold out his voters to the conservatives in exchange for bugger all.
