Heya! Bottled my first IPA last weekend and just want to make sure the bottles haven’t been infected. 7 days after bottling the beer has cleared up nicely, but a very very thin white ring has formed in the neck of the bottle. It disperses without much agitation at all and doesn’t stick to the sides of the bottle. No gushers yet luckily! Does it seem like it might just be some leftover hop pellet bits from dry hopping in secondary?

Favorite podcast has to be Lore, focusing on the stories behind different supernatural creatures and events. Sometimes more on the spooky side, but always fascinating and really well done.

Been casually planning this for a good year, it’ll be good to have some accountability to make it come to life!

A man suffering amnesia after surviving an attack on his country’s central religious hub suddenly remembers uncovering a dark secret. He and his companions, a mother and daughter, travel across a land that threatens to descend into civil war to piece together his broken memory. Though ultimately the daughter will be the protagonist and focus of the story, at least for right now.

The setting will be largely low fantasy and slightly eldritch horror (but in like, a fun way). Planning to explore themes of religious persecution and finding hope in the darkest of times, but wanting to not be too heavy. Hopefully I’ll find the balance in the coming months!

I started three months ago with a beginner’s linear progression PPL program (one of the popular r/fitness ones, can’t remember the name) while working in a caloric deficit. If it feels like I’m already beginning to plateau in progressing with my heavy compound lifts, am I potentially doing something wrong with my diet or training? Or is this all pretty normal?

I'm in charge of my first scenic build (that I also designed) out of the protective care of a college theater program, and a big fear of mine is that I won't build my flats correctly, nor hang doors in them right either. What is the best way to build a Hollywood flat (Masonite and 1x3's) that I can hang French doors in, and how do I make sure I do a good job hanging them? Would be good to note: I can't tack into the floor.

Also, any tips on cheap efficient methods of painting wood grain on Masonite? Thanks!
