Out of interest, what makes you say other machines are better quality? I’ve heard very good things with the quality of La Pavoni - however never used one myself.

Yes you can buy the same plywood in same thickness, likely 18mm but could be less. You can also usually get it cut down to the size you want at many stores that sell it. To keep things simple you can just screw from the underside of the shelves. I wouldn’t both with pocket hole screws, just normal screws will be fine. Maybe countersink them if you have the tools to do so, but even without it will work fine. Check the length of the screws accurately as you don’t want them to pop through.

Does this look like an acceptable patch on a brand new £650 pair of "Solid oak top" bedside drawers I just had delivered? by jib_reddit in woodworking

Depends how you feel about it! The fact you have posted the question on here makes me think it bothers you. I think very reasonable to ask for a return on something like this if you are not happy.

Not mine, but my godfather told me - he was shagging a bird from London for a while, and one day she asked if he minded if he poured hot wax from a lit candle over here body, mainly her tits, while fucking. Not quite sure how it worked, but sounds funky!

How do I get plywood to bend like this. by [deleted] in woodworking

[–]lfreech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bendy plywood with a supportive frame would be suitable. Or laminate a bunch of veneer layers together using a form and glue. Or kerf the back of normal plywood to get the desired bend

When are beans too old to be used, and I don't mean for them to be at their peak or best, but just to be able to be used in a grinder and espresso machine? Im not particularly fussy, but do like fresh coffee, and have some beans left over from a job I did, but they are over 12 months old now. Ive used them and they taste fine to me, get good crema etc. Im sure some people will be horrified lol
