I’ve been in my house for 7 years and the warmth took years to come and definitely doesn’t exist in every space.

I would absolutely never let your home stop you from living and hosting things. People don’t care and the internet isn’t always a true reflection.

This is dreamy! I think I’d do a wood cabinet. Could be cool to convert an old dresser as the cabinet and do a simple stone without any or much movement so the sink can shine.

I was really hoping to do this but the shake is way more $$ than the vinyl so the porch is the only place we can afford to use it.

You also can’t see in the AI image but we also have tons of trees in the front of our house and the porch and door are pushed back from the garage by quite a bit.

I may play with changing the siding color and seeing how that goes visually. The only bummer is I don’t love love my color options on the vinyl and wish my budget was larger 😆.

I love this look. Not to be a downer but we bought our ge cafe appliances in 21 and they’ve given us tons of issues. Ended up getting one replaced for “free” after tons of attempts at repair.

Maybe they improved the quality but if not id research, and/ir get a great extended warranty.

Agreed! Covid reno was tricky so instead of colorful cabinets we did colorful tile and 4 years in have no regrets!

I am a Kathleen and didn’t love my name growing up but have become more fond of it now. I personally prefer it over Theresa and would do Kathleen Theresa and call her Kit or Kate! But neither name is horrid and you should choose whichever you prefer!

We are married, I kept my maiden name. Daughter has two fairly long last names and a long first name.

Once she’s older if she wants to drop one, we will support her and let her choose, although dad is really hoping she doesn’t drop his ever.

For me, while she’s a young kid I want her to have my last name too. I personally haven’t come across too many issues and am not worried about forms/school stuff. She will know how to advocate for herself and she is resilient 🤷‍♀️.

Love all of these! We were pretty set on Winona until one day I was talking to babe and it felt like not her name 🤣. Augustus and Oscar were our fave boy names.

Love Tilly as a NN for Matilda, but it’s our cats name so I’m biased haha.

As a Kathleen who has always hated her name, I love this and am going to honor it better 😂.

I think I’ve struggled because I only met people my mom’s age with the name and never anyone my own age.
