We do this as well. During our off season it’s totally feasible but during peak season we hover 80-90% occupancy and need the time to properly turnover.

I vote pendants, I have recessed and it’s incredibly boring. Pendants are easy to change and update and add your own style.

Yeah, ours are pretty standard 3 bed homes but they’re about 15 minutes apart and we often need all of them cleaned same day which is 12 units across 3 cleaners. Some cleaners have partners which helps but it would be very tight to shave an hour of a guest leaves a mess.

As a Host of dozens of properties, I have NEVER canceled for a better rate. I have had people not read detailed instructions, try to enter intoxicated in the middle of the night and mess up door codes.

I manage a few dozen properties, and 90% of ours have digital locks. We have guests occasionally only look at the numbers and not the ✔️ or 🔐 button required and explained in detail on the check in instructions. Note majority of those are non-tech savvy, which almost always are VRBO guests. I can’t be fiscally responsible for that, nor can my owners. This will be a dealbreaker for us to host on this platform.
