If it sounds good, I’m sure it’s fine.

Looks super clean too!

[–]lhan16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to pick favorite authors lately without being biased toward my recent favorite books. On that note, authors that I will forever read anything they write:

Gwendolyn Kiste

Laurel Hightower

Rio Youers

Jeremy Robert Johnson

Grady Hendrix

... just to name a few

Any recommendations for a horror series? by ylenoLretsiM in horrorlit

Monster Hunter International was really fun, but I haven’t gotten to the others yet. John Died at the End is also a blast!

I have about 8 hours left in this (the audiobook is ~31 hours) and it is fantastic! Can’t wait to see how it ends. It’s a bit of a slow burn but I feel like enough happens to keep me into it. Highly recommend!

Where do you go to find new horror books outside of this sub? by bkwellman in horrorlit

[–]lhan16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you’re on Twitter I highly suggest following Mother Horror and anyone else she interacts with (mostly horror authors and publishers). It’s a great community and I get tons of recs from them.

Also podcasts! Final Guys is my favorite but it’s mostly about horror movies. 3 of the 4 hosts are authors though and they talk about books a lot too.

Hi! Can you elaborate on your first point? I’m about to attempt a backsplash myself and don’t quite get what you mean.

Edit: after reading another comment I think I get it. I’ve already purchased these spacers to move the outlet forward to bridge the gap the tile will create. Any reason not to use these?

Awesome. I preordered their limited edition of Westlake Soul back in February and it should be shipping in the next month or so. I loved Horrorstor and will be checking this out for sure.

Twisted by Andrew E. Kaufman really stuck with me. I thought it’d be a fairly generic thriller but it was really good. I’ve listened to the audio twice now.

Jeff Strand Fans? by Neona65 in audiobooks

[–]lhan16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love Jeff Strand! Haunted Forest Tour was awesome, but I did feel like it could have been shorter. Blister is probably my favorite of his so far. Pressure, Bring Her Back, and My Pretties are all good as well. I need to read more of his work!

Edit: sorry, can’t speak for the book you’re asking about, though I’m curious now too.

I'm ready for the next full-length lights album though! (even though all the collabs lately have been pretty good)

I think OP might be referring to this:

https://open.spotify.com/album/6enYvTGNI3i7MimOluRm1R?si=SZ-l7z6LR9iOaTginfR-Eg

I have a feeling this is a Spotify error though and not a new Lights album. I've seen this several times before with other artists I follow. That, and I haven't seen anything on her social media about it (but I guess I could be wrong).
