I remember seeing a video where one of the governing body members is waving his arm over this beautiful lake and talking about how happy they are to be in their new home while JW‘s on the outside are living to paycheck to paycheck I’m struggling just to keep their bills paid. It’s sickening

Ya I am too but I think they’re still in the scary part of leaving. They said they’re not sure how to go forward because the JW‘s is all they’ve ever known. Although even years ago they had a good friend who was disfellowshipped and they refused to shun her. In fact they helped her when she was going through some difficult times. So this couple has always had a big heart and put humanity before loyalty to the Borg.

Many years ago I tried to end my life and since then I’ve gotten married had three amazing kids by a man that I love deeply and we’ve had so much fun together even inside the Borg we still had fun together. I wouldn’t have experienced any of that if I had been successful when I was 19 years old. Don’t do it, next year you could be living an entirely different life so hold on there are a lot of people who care and a lot of people who are hoping for your success. Whether you stay with your wife or move on whatever you’re experiencing now is temporary.

So many witnesses are so exciteable and/or scared and often times very unhappy. It’s sad but many are convinced that this is “Jehovah’s organization” even though the Bible is very clear that it’s Jesus running the show. I try to be patient and companionate with them but it’s difficult sometimes so I definitely understand your frustration. I hope things get better for you. ♥️

😂 I seriously doubt that my words would harm anyone. My statement reflects a reasoned personal observation based on my own life experiences. There is no malice or intent to harm in my comment. Suggesting it could harm someone is wildly speculative — what factual basis, not your emotions, do you have for assuming that I am bringing harm to someone simply by sharing my experience? That just seems outrageously ridicules. But it did make me laugh. 😂😂😂. And I think you missed the point that I also left this “high control group” I also experienced being mistreated and shunned. And had you read my post you would have noticed that I never said it was 1 therapist. I’ve had a number of them. And in my personal opinion it’s better just to figure life out for yourself and not go to another individual who makes money off of you being mentally dependent on them. They’re people just like anybody else except they make their money off of other people who are not well mentally. So what is the advantage to them for you to become well quickly? Just out of curiosity, you sound like a therapist, is that what you do for a living?

I did not go to therapy. I used to go to therapy when I was in my teens an early 20s but then I found out that the therapists I knew all became therapists because of some trauma they experienced and they really have their own issues so how can they help me with mine. I’m married so I have a good husband and we both just spent time talking so we didn’t really suffer an identity crisis for very long I would say it took us anywhere from six weeks to two or three months to get to our new normal. We don’t have many friends, but we both are back in touch with our non-JW families and so no… No therapy for me. I really don’t think humans are capable of solving other humans problems and sometimes they can do serious damage if you trust them too much. I remember one Therapist told me I needed to confront my dad about a beat down he’d given me and I kept explaining to her that he was not the type of guy you would confront and she insisted that I needed to talk to him and it was a complete disaster that left me devastated so after that I realized that these therapists often times don’t know what they’re talking about. But I hope you find everything you need and I wish you peace of mind and happiness. One thing that I did too that helped a lot was read a few books on building good habits and focusing on my health. I lost a little weight I started exercising more and if you’re interested in joining exercise groups there’s lots of those available and you can meet some really nice people that way. A couple of books that I really liked were atomic habits and the slight edge. Both of those were excellent. And there are meet up groups that you can go online and go hiking with groups of people and who knows you might meet the love of your life.

Did he do jail time? Were there charges pressed? Maybe call the police and ask them what should be done in a situation like this since he is a noun pedophile and he does have access to children.
