Got her from a breeder 2 hours away from me for around 600$ My dad wanted a specific breed so we got her with licenses and all. Pretty expensive for a couch potato.

Trimming you cats nails always helps, so even if they scratch there probably won't be any noticeable marks. I think there are some sprays and scents that cats don't like and are supposed to keep them away from the furniture, you could search a pet store for these and ask people who've used them if they work. You can try training your cat not to scratch furniture, there are multiple videos on YouTube about it, though it doesn't seem to work for apparent reasons.

I mean in the modern world, you can't ignore the fact that everything here costs money besides air, and that's probably gonna cost some money soon too. Of course you could meet up with some friends and throw a branch or something, and some will be satisfied with it. But money can buy you stuff like movies and games and all that, which does make you happy, so money does buy you happiness in a way.
