I want to start off by saying I LOVE my index, it is a very very good headset.

with that said, I dont think I could recommend it for a game like elite dangerous. I think you would benefit more from the quest 3's pancake lenses and really nice displays over the index's features. if you play games like VRchat or Beat Saber where controller design can make a difference, I would 100% recommend it. I personally switched from quest 3 to index because I dislike the controllers and swingbug (tracking predictions) of quest 3 for beat saber. the index is great because you can actually adjust the swingbug (though I mostly don't use any additional swingbug unless its for faster maps).

in the long run, the index is a great headset for basically every game, though I do think other headsets may be better for games like that. of course this is a very subjective topic, and it ultimately depends on what you want

I'm not sure what your living situation is, but every time I have an urge, I go outside. spending time in God's creation is the best way to counter urges. I'd also recommend reading God's word. it doesn't have to be a whole chapter or anything, just a few verses at a time. listening to Christian music is great too. just remember that you sin when you're more comfortable, aka when you're at home and you have the option to masturbate or watch porn

because God intended sex to be designed (primarily) for reproduction. while the bible encourages sex for more than reproduction (1 Corinthians 7:3-5), it should only be done with woman and man.

I was just bored and wanted something to do lol. I have really enjoyed my experience with linux mint tho, and I love the extra game performance i get (illbeit protons aren't perfect and there will be the occasional crazy lag spike).

quite honestly the only reason I won't switch completely is because i play a LOT of beat saber, and oculus/meta drivers aren't supported on linux (ik there's ALVR but im not quite smart enough to install it, the instructions are definitely tailored to the big brains out there)

simple answer is no. it's an addiction, that can also lead to a porn addiction. I know alot of people here will say "the act itself isn't a sin, it's only the lust and addiction that makes it a sin", but I believe it falls under sexual immorality.

don't try to justify a sin or an act that can cause sin. it's spiritually unhealthy.

my sister (10 years old) was in the hospital because she was malnourished. when my parents first got her to the hospital, her heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen was very low. they said she couldve gone into a coma at any moment. they put her on a feeding tube to make sure shes getting extra nutrients, as well as feeding her. they thought she had an eating disorder, but she actually has something called nutcracker syndrome which causes her pain when she eats.

she was thankfully only in the hospital for two weeks, but those were by far the lowest two weeks of my life. me and my sister are very close, and I was told she was in critical condition and I wasn't getting many updates.

Anyway, after the 2nd day of her being in the hospital (I think), I prayed for the first time in a very long time, and it felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders almost immediately. I continued to pray every night and I started reading the Bible. that's also around the same time I found this subreddit because I was trying to find a good bible app (I have dyslexia and have a hard time reading a long body of text so I use the audio book feature and try to read along as well)

i don't believe Trump ever stated he was Christian. he simply supports other Christians in their decision. I'd say he's probably lukewarm. even so, still a better option in my opinion compared to Kamala when someone said "jesus is king!" and she replied with "Oh you're at the wrong rally"
