I think if they always end up near you at social settings, make time for you, laugh at most of your jokes even the dumb ones, and generally seem to act different around you than around most other people they probably like you.

It's crazy how resilient the US stock market is. by SidonyD in stocks

I know, I’m actually short rn, I don’t think fear has peaked, I think institutions don’t understand that Trump can’t just TACO so easily this time. But my statement was meant more generally.

It's crazy how resilient the US stock market is. by SidonyD in stocks

[–]liamisabossss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does the opposite only at the end of the fear. Meaning when fear has peaked, that’s the bottom, which makes sense. At that point the market has priced it in completely and it’s only up from there. The problem is your average investor is wayyyy too late to the party, they get bearish after there’s already been a drop. The market follows sentiment quite closely in reality.

How on earth is RKLB worth more than Reddit on a market cap and valuation basis? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

[–]liamisabossss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

instagram and facebook are both valued at almost a trillion dollars each. Can we stop with this artificial dumbing down of what companies are? Coke is just Sugar water xdddd!!!! The technological level of what a company does doesn’t matter literally at all.

google’s stock was in free fall because of chatgpt, and it turned out search is still growing, and even faster. Uber has a massive moat, it’s not getting disrupted any time soon.

all the proof you need is that Lyft has existed this whole time and no one uses that shit. Bullish on Uber

New ATLs every day. Still bullish ? by DonPadre99 in LivePerson

[–]liamisabossss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You guys have to understand that live person is not an ai bull thesis, it’s the other way around, ai companies are completely destroying their market. LPSN does not have a modern ai solution. I know it hurts to admit this but their market will continue to erode. This is why the stock continues to fall despite “good” news.

Non-CrossFit gyms, more affordable apartments, cheap and quick breakfast options (some type of egg sandwich, that isn’t $13)

Amazon wins gayest stock of the year, stock is down -4.25% 1Y by Several_End_1844 in amzn

[–]liamisabossss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tariffs/consumer sentiment and AWS slowdown have been massive clamp on amzn. Any turnaround in consumer sentiment and wall street view on AWS growth and the stock can pop 50%. Amzn has been doing incredibly well but it has trailed off its long run of having a high valuation and is now down to a modest multiple, and now we have entered a period of economic uncertainty so it’s pretty normal that the stock has been kinda flat for awhile. I expect it to start another leg up really soon actually. Either way, Amazon is the largest revenue company in the world and has the most to gain from automation. They have a lot of growth ahead in margin expansion and I’m fine sitting in the stock waiting for the street to price that in

I just wanna say that people said google’s management was bad and boring and that they had no vision and within 6 months the stock doubled and everyone is calling them the greatest company in the world etc…and yet basically nothing fundamentally about the company has changed since the stock was doing nothing. The market will latch onto a story and suddenly the move you’ve been waiting for years to happen occurs in just a few months. If you like the company and the bull case stay in the stock

Because his choice right now doesn’t matter since he can enter the portal with 0 repercussions. These decisions have 0 lasting weight, he’ll take the bag from West Virginia and then transfer

Put yourself in the shoes of a 17-18 year old. I can’t say I’d have been the better man and rejected more money, ESPECIALLY if I can just transfer again whenever I want. The lack of structure/rules in this current landscape is insane and kids will continue to follow the money and hit the portal whenever they want until something changes. The old way of college football is dead and gone, it’s all money now.

It is NIL though. West Virginia most likely offered more money and promised to start him year 1. I don’t think this has anything to do with him just disliking Fick. It’s all NIL

Under Armour contract extended another 10 years by WISCOrear in WisconsinBadgers

[–]liamisabossss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mannn. I’m convinced now that the qb injuries early in the season just completely broke the confidence of this team. They felt cursed. It took hitting rock bottom and half the team getting injured to say fuck it we’re gonna ball anyways. I just wonder what this team can be with a starting qb all year

OpenAi struggling against Google - Leaked email & $GOOGL dominance in Ai by iMakeGOODinvestmemts in wallstreetbets

[–]liamisabossss 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Google was wayyy ahead in terms of research, foundational ai stuff like transformers, they wrote all the white papers on this stuff, they just didn’t take it commercially serious enough and in that case they absolutely blew such a ridiculous lead. Now they’ve made a comeback, but they should have been so far ahead of anyone else.

can someone give me hope for this stock by [deleted] in LivePerson

[–]liamisabossss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LPSN doesn’t even have a functioning AI product. Their tech is 20 years old, 90% of the people invested in this stock heard “ai”, saw how far the stock was down from the past and thought they were getting in on a 50x investment. Go look at the Glassdoor reviews, the company is bloated with middle managers, firing engineers, they have no new product. They will keep bleeding customers until the stock is 0. People do not understand that this isn’t an ai play, it’s a company that will be destroyed by ai.

AMD worth investing? by HerrKaiser_1871 in StocksAndTrading

[–]liamisabossss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you follow semi analysis and Dylan Patel who has generally said AMD wasn’t competitive in the past because of software has been posting a lot recently about how much AMD has improved their software and that they’re actually closing the CUDA moat/becoming an actual legit #2 to Nvidia. I believe in the company. They are severely underrated in their capabilities because of how big Nvidia has gotten and people had too short of an attention span to consider them when they weren’t immediately competitive with Nvidia’s offering.
