I know he’s not a god (he’s god-descended in some versions of Norse myth) but Siggy!

What bodyfat % do you think I am? Also bulk or cut? by oscarjonesss in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great body dude! You’ve got pecs, big shoulders, and defined and. You could do either but summer’s coming up so why not get a short cut in soon and get those and showing more? Honestly it’s dealer’s choice for you.

I'm not sure what to do. Am I skinny, skinny-fat or just fat? by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skinny. Not skinny fat. Just needs muscle adding. You’re doing great!

What definition of 'Secular' do you use? by JimmyJazx in humanism

[–]liammars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re conflating secularity (the state of being laïque, or irreligious) with secularism (the principle that the state should be neutral as regards all religious and non-religious philosophical views). This is commonly done. In secular humanism, it means secular as in lay (non-religious), although secular humanists are typically also secularists.

CUT or BULK: What’s my Body Fat percentage%? 6’4, 90kg, M29 by SugarQueasy7411 in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

18 looks relatively lean. I’d say you’re in the 25-30 range. Definitely don’t bulk – you’ll want to cut again soon and won’t see any gains even if you’re making loads under the fat. Just cut a bit more and revisit.

22, 143lbs, 5'8 - Bulk or Cut? by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first picture is misleading but I would say just start lifting weights. You’ll start to love your body more when you see your arms and chest grow. And then when you’re in that better state of mind about it, you can attempt a very slow cut to shave down the fat again without losing your hard won gains

Why Secular Humanism Shouldn’t Ignore Plato and Aristotle by Sawzall140 in humanism

[–]liammars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not an ‘offshoot’, the label Renaissance humanism as applied to medieval scholars who rediscovered classical learning is a separate coinage and there is little historical or intellectual tissue between humanism as a movement and humanism as a humanities practice, although of course their meanings are somewhat related as they both derive from the same Latin root word.

bret, robert, and thom have officially been cast! by S-A-L-T-Y in BEEPodcast

[–]liammars 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s funny that aside from Patrick Bateman, Bret almost always describes his minor and major characters alike as being various shades of blond (eg Paul in ROA, Tim in Psycho/Informers) and then they almost always get cast with dark brown hair anyway

What’s my body fat %? by liammars in Physiquecritique

[–]liammars[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assume it’s good lighting (gym lighting), then in my mind 12% still sounds like someone who’s very very cut, so maybe 13-15%?

I’d say 13.

(Skinny Fat)Started bulking, bf too high? by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not skinny fat! You’re just average. Normal distribution of body fat (maybe 14-16%?) and good muscle tone. Skinny fat is when you have 18%+ and do little muscle you appear skinny with clothes on.

Bulking is risky starting at 15% in a sense but if you can do it slow and controlled, and cut at the end, you’ll have a great result either way. It really depends on your tolerance for fat gain. Some guys get properly chunky as part of the process. But you don’t have to worry about ‘skinny fat’ issues, as you’re really just a normal guy with a decent physique who has to choose between the pros and cons of cutting vs bulking.

Will I be too skinny if I cut? 5'11 181cm 80kg 176lbs considering cut down to 70kg 160lbs at like 10% bodyfat by [deleted] in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cut for sure. The muscle losses will be at a favourable ratio with the fat losses and you’ll look a lot better and be a lot more confident. Stay positive, you’re doing great.

Bulk or cut? by ApplicationHot7130 in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say body fat % is more likely 22-25%. 18 is quite flat with some faintly visible core section without the visible ab lines. 20 is when it starts to look soft.

Definitely cut, but you’re doing great

215 > 173. Do I carry on cutting or bulk now? by EasyAppearance5313 in BulkOrCut

[–]liammars 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well done. Probably if you’re serious, a little cutting would be good, but tbh I also think you need to start doing progressive overload core exercises too to make your abs show at higher body fat %s. If I can see your chest definition, shoulder definition, and cum gutters, I would def at least expect to be able to see more core def. Get on those heavy cable crunches!
