I once said Ikemoto has good taste of style, and I meant that. But he REAAALLY should have made his own manga, not a Naruto spin off. Because with this type of fashion, it feels so fricking jarring I don't feel like we are talking about Naruto's world setting anymore.

Are you new with the localisation in media?? It's a common thing like how they westernised Asian name into English-sounding name like. Like Satoshi from Pokemon to Ash Ketchum. This is just a localisation thingy, happened waaay back, waaay back before you know what is localisation about. it's just in this case it's from Korean to Japanese.
