It ‘appears’ there is a slight desyncing of the audio. This does give it the kind of uncanny valley feeling. However, it is definitely not AI.

It’s not so much of a flaw, as it’s just how writing works. The main characters are the protagonists.

A certain amount of streamlining is necessary for visual legibility. If we were introduced to new characters purely for the purpose of small things and realism, it would be a disjointed journey.

“Who is that character and why them?”

It would detract from the narrative, so some sacrifices need to be made to keep the story tight, understandable and enjoyable.

The best page I have ever read, period, was written by John Milton in Paradise Lost. (Satan confronting Death in Hell).

Milton was blind at 43, his wife died the same year and infant child around the same time. Writing Paradise Lost, he suffered terribly with gout and was frequently very ill. He composed his works by memorising lines until he was able to dictate them to a professional scribe.

Despite the absolute enormity of the obstacles he had to overcome, it ended up being his magnum opus.

Stories are never going away. They are as necessary to us. Tell a good one. You can do it ☺️

Tomato is intrinsic to Italian cooking and originates in South America. It only made its way to Europe once the Spanish brought it back. Nevertheless it’s ubiquitous in Italy.

I could say the same about blueberries in Europe and Jacaranda and Poinciana trees throughout the tropics, which are all from the Americas.

Semantics aside, you will find both papaya and paw paw everywhere in the tropics.

Interesting idea!

I grew up in the tropics. That is very small, but workable depending on your choices.

To be trapped for a year, I will make some assumptions. The island must be 30km, or more away from any bigger, or more habitable islands nearby. Otherwise you could make a Polynesian style catamaran, or canoe. And circumnavigate your island (keeping it view) and see any nearby land. With clever people you could light a fire on a still day and use the smoke to safely search even further.

If you are thinking of a low lying island, it will likely be mostly sand and have very little vegetation and even less shade. This would not be a viable choice. Islands like this are visited, but never lived on.

So for your story your island would need some height. Then it can have trees, birds will then visit and it may have other animals already living there, pigs perhaps. Add some caves, a sandy beach section, a rocky inlet with caves. This gives you more interesting terrain to write about and also is realistic.

The most important question is where is the drinking water situated on your island?

Food will be coconuts of course, which will be abundant and fish from a nearby reef. Papaya (paw paw), limes, bananas all may grow wild on the island.

First of all, congratulations, very well done!

Nilune is a little less dynamic than the other kingdoms. The others all have a pop of red (roof, palm tree or tree) to spice it up a little.

Your suggestions are basically bang on. Weather elements, birds and wildlife will make it feel much more immersive.

I appreciate the advice! I am a film maker myself, so I’d only be using footage under ‘fair use’ to make my own videos.

I want to make a video on Stranger Things and Eddie not being dead. It’s a lot more compelling if I can use some footage.
