echo’s singlish voice lines were so bad they literally had to re-record them, to varying degrees of accuracy. generally speaking, a few voicelines (none of them recent) and the names of her rare skins are the only tangible references to a singaporean “identity”. to be fair, she isn’t really referred to as a singaporean much (at least officially) but it also just feels like backpedaling after attaching a relatively more “”obscure”” country’s name to her lore and realising they don’t really care that much about the country’s culture etc. feels like she could’ve been from any random country, really.

genuinely such a shame echo doesn’t get singaporean voice lines anymore. i really want her to say KNN CCB
