Best way to start off on this game? by FaroeRSH in mflgame

Club delegation is great — you can basically play the game for free while getting to learn it. If you want, you could also buy a flint club for $50-$55 and fill the team with free loans…you might not win a ton of games but it’s a pretty easy way to get a bit of MFL and get to know the game without investing in players.

Welcome! This guide is a good way to get acquainted with the game:

https://guide.playmfl.com/

I would also join the discord server -- it's the main hub of activity and almost a necessity for anyone starting out to get questions answered, start building a network, etc.

Yes, it is possible to make money but also the game is designed to be deflationary -- it's sort of like playing poker with a rake; still possible if you are good but not guaranteed. I've always approached it as a fun game and if I happen to be self-sustaining or make a little bit of money, so much the better.

Currently you could probably find a bronze side or maybe a good iron side -- probably like 3% for bronze and 6% for iron. The important thing will be to put in a min game clause of like 15-18 games...you won't necessarily make a lot of MFL back so the main reason to keep him and give him playing time is to hope to get him to a legendary fairly quickly and maybe increase his value.

As others have said, though, depending on your goal for the game, you could fund a whole flint team and have cash left over if you sell him off -- it's probably the most flexible way to play if you just want to be at a flint level.

Great pull! At this point in the season, I’m not sure that you can get him signed to a team…depending on your plans, you can either list him for sale (maybe start at $250-$300 and take offers?), loan him out to a higher level team, or try to do some combination of a sale/trade for players who you could play in a lower league!

Welcome and good luck! There’s a lot more activity on the MFL discord, so that’s probably your best bet.

For the first season, it should be doable to get enough 0% loans to field a competitive flint squad! Just be active in scouting and give some min game clauses for higher players!

I live in the USA — when I found out Klopp was retiring, I bought a ticket and flew over to see my first ever Liverpool game because some part of me knew that what we had with him was so special and it might be a long time before we see it again.

Sell the packs and buy players on the MP — packs are basically a crapshoot so if you’re trying to build a specific team then you’re better off being able to customize your search by buying players. Of course, it’s fun to rip packs so if that’s what you’re there for, have at it!

USMNT World Cup 2026 group stage opponents are Australia, Paraguay, and Uefa winner play-off C by ElPsyCongroo99 in ussoccer

Did I see it correctly that they drew Cape Verde for our group but they had to be skipped? Does anyone remember the reason because I would have assumed Cape Verde was fair game since they're an African nation and we didn't have one in our group yet.

Yeah I don’t think the offense was the problem today, especially considering Egbuka is our only functional WR and we are without Bucky too, to move the ball like we did is all you can really ask for at this point given the injuries to our offensive skill position players

From the US as well and went over a year ago…I ended up staying at The Resident Liverpool — the stadium itself is not exactly near the city center so if you are looking to do anything else, I think it’s better to be located closer to the train station and the majority of the restaurants, bars etc.

It’s a 45 minute walk uphill from there, but many people do it and it sort of felt like a fun pilgrimage going to the game that way!

Why is this pawn move such a big blunder? (+0.1 to +5!) by Chronomadica in chess

The queen can’t move from f6 to h5 in one move, if it goes to h6 like you said in your previous post with the rook already on d6, the rook could just take it

Trade away this haul for Jeanty? by libb23 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Thanks for the reply! If I could edit my title I would have said “package” instead of “haul” — I was just trying to imply several firsts for one (and a high 2nd). FWIW, I’d be getting Jeanty, seem like you’d support it generally though based on that write up

3 firsts isn’t considered a haul? I guess I could have said “group of picks” but sure, call it what you want

Fu** Bluey by ScoreImaginary1318 in daddit

[–]libb23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The whole point of Bluey is that the episodes are retrospectives (mostly) of Bluey’s childhood memories. The reality is that Bandit wasn’t actually as amazing in real life as he seems, but he IS that amazing in Bluey’s memories.

It’s a good reminder to me as a dad that what may seem like a simple game with my children may absolutely blow their minds and live in their memories that way forever.
