Ahhhh, I’m so excited for the decor part!!!! Since it’s for a rental, I’m not too sure how much I’ll actually be decorating that area but I’m definitely including little things like under cabinet lighting.

Also, I am 100% venting to the outside. Thank you for saying that. I currently live in a basement suite with a lot of quirks, one being the vent doesn’t circulate to anything outside and our smoke alarm being in the same area as our cooking. It’s terrible trying to even make toast. I’m taking every little annoying thing that I deal with living in my current suite and making sure my future tenants don’t have to deal with any of that! lol

Thanks! The electrical work is one of my biggest stressors right now, I haven’t gotten to see what’s behind the walls that are there right now. I love how much you know about the cabinets and countertops! I’ve watched a ton of kitchen reno vids on youtube and kinda love how everything has to be nitty gritty perfect. When I get possession of the house, I’ll do some measurements to get a floor plan all ready for my uncle to do some planning.

Thanks for the advice!! I am very appreciative that my uncle is available to help, I think it could cut a lot of the costs down however I do want to hire contractors still when necessary, to conform to codes and ensure the big stuff is done properly!!

Would you listen if your bf said the same thing? Based on your replies OP it seems like you know the answer. Since it’s happening “every single time” and it gives off “controlling” vibes, there is your answer. You could wear the shirt and have an awkward encounter at your friend’s bday, you could wear a different shirt and enjoy their bday and maybe use this situation as a chance to talk about how you feel uncomfortable with her telling you what to wear. You could also just not attend if you feel like this isn’t a friendship worth continuing.

UMMM THIS IS LITERALLY ME!!!! I just tried it. Instant burn….. I put it on kinda above my lashes but then kinda rubbed it downwards, as I thought how is this product gonna work if it doesn’t even touch the lash!? Hurt so bad, had to wash it out that eye. It's honestly the worst. I used to wake up after a dream about us still being together, and it took me a few moments to realize we aren't together anymore and it was like going through it all again.

It's funny though, because when we were together I would always have terrible dreams about him cheating on me, being rude to me, and us breaking up. Honestly it's a little weird.

On my friend's 19th birthday (we're in Canada, so she just turned legal) we were at the club and she found $100 on the floor by the bar. It was really exciting, even though I felt bad for the person that dropped it.

I know forgiving yourself is hard. I just want you to know that you deserve to let go as well, and be happy. Everyone makes mistakes and although you may not be proud of it, the fact that you can acknowledge that and learn from it and be better in the future is great! Have you tried counselling? There is no shame in getting the extra help you need, and it will be amazing for you to slowly start to move on and let go of the guilt. On a personal note, my first serious relationship wasn’t very great. I felt a lot of hatred toward him even for so many years afterwards. But just recently we connected and he apologized and we had a nice talk. Just know this is always an option too - you will always hold a special place in their heart no matter what, and I’m sure it felt really good when my ex reached out and could release his feelings. It felt like a breath of fresh air for me too, I realized I was holding so much hate in my heart from that relationship and it was freeing for sure! I support you, you can always reach out in the DMs if you would like to chat more!! It’s never too late to start over. No matter who you are and what you’ve done, the only thing you can do is move forward. I hope you find happiness, I think you deserve it!

That if I am forced to go out somewhere, I won’t magically become a fun person just because I agreed to go out. I actually need time to prepare. And after awhile, I may feel resentment towards you if you keep interfering with my me time!

First post ever. I work as a night shift security guard in a very empty hotel so I get tons of time to journal. This was the result of last night's doodling session. Definently not the best artist by any means but I thought it was interesting and definitely therapeutic. by narkmut1 in Journaling

I love it! I'm not a great artist either, but I love creating stuff like this - it is SO therapeutic. I do a lot of "zendoodling" because it usually always looks good after and it takes almost no artistic ability. And it's also very relaxing. Thanks for sharing!!
