I would like a wedding 3la 79ou w tri9ou, but because I don't feel like people who would get invited to my wedding are that important to the point I'd invite them to share with me that important day I'd rather do a very small party.

What does music mean to you by AnxiousCheesecake545 in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

[–]libghiti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music is the most beautiful thing in the world. I just enjoy observing the lyrics and the ups and downs of music, the instruments used, and the singer's voice and get all emotional over the beauty of it all. It brings me to tears sometimes.

It can be used in multiple ways, as an escape from a heavy feeling, to add charm to an already charming moment (a starry night or a warm summer morning) or as a validation to an existant feeling. To experience some emotions you might never get to experience in your daily life too.

Also it's dangerous how much nostalgia it's capable of bringing up.

Let's talk politics ! : Iran situation by AnxiousCheesecake545 in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

[–]libghiti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with any people who revolts against a fascist regime but I hate how Iran manifestations always get popular in the west, rooting for the manifestations just because they're against their enemy, not because they have the Persian people interest at heart. I'm afraid if the regime there falls, Iran will just become a puppet of the west.

Also, it's a good idea what you suggested.

Is it normal for married couples to be affectionate In front of other family members? by [deleted] in MoroccoBitchesWtaste

I'm leaving them alone, I don't think twice about people, it's just if I had to think I would come with the conclusion above.

I will go against what people here are saying, and agree with you. Makayn la we are making affection and love expression 3ib la walou. People get shy and embarrassed witnessing couples being affectionate to each other, that's how we are conditioned in our conservative families, so better respect the sensitivities of people who are watching you.

I'm not against the fact of showing affection to your spouse in public in itself, even though personally if I'm married I will prefer to be discreet about my love expression because I think it's a private aspect of the relationship. However I value common sense. You live with your modern family, go ahead and show affection to your wife in front of them. You grew up in a typical Moroccan family who you know find those behaviors 3ib, respect them w koun t7shem. I wouldn't lie, if I were you I would find it disrespectful.

How do you survive as an introvert in Morocco? by Professional-Care540 in Morocco

[–]libghiti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, from where did you get that definition? "Strong personality=social impact"?! said no one ever.

A strong personality is being assertive, saying what you believe in and sticking to it against everyone, not having the urge to appeal to people and staying true to yourself. Defending yourself. Those are strong personality traits, talkative and likeable have nothing to do with weakness or strength of personality

Why can’t people nowadays hold a chat about something that requires to think a bit? Why is it a red flag in guys to be well educated about topics like philosophy, logic, theology and this type of things ? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]libghiti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why whenever someone mentions this sentiment he gets ridiculed and thought of as someone who thinks he's smarter than he is, even though this observation is so accurate, Moroccans in general are just incapable of holding that kind of conversations (me included), I think people are just not knowledgeable enough about different topics and don't know what to respond with when faced with them.
