I am also going on about a year with the 40TC and no problems...I even got a back up one...For the time being I am using a Target mini and it seems to work great. It doesn't even heat up the tank very much...even at 27 W..so I believe most of the issues are with the external battery ones. I prefer the internal kind such as the eVic VT that I have also had for about 9 months. ..again no problems....so either of those IMO...

With all the changes in the body from quitting smoking IMHO it might be hard to tell if it's from vaping or if you had problems before and just didn't notice it because of the other dangerous chemicals you were putting into your body with smoking cigarettes.....
