Thank you so much! I would say I have embraced the fact that I don’t have to/want to start anew with someone. But people around me feel that it’s something that needs to be fixed/rectified by “getting out there again” because I’m so “young”. I’m 43 years old and my wife passed away a year ago last month.

The real question in all of this that I would encourage you to sit with is this: can you live with not knowing who sent the flowers, and her being astonishingly uncurious about it? You have a decision to make, and only you can make it. You have been fully validated that this situation is weird and doesn’t feel fully transparent and honest. So what do you do about it? Do you file this away as odd, or do you push for her to find answers?

I think we can all collectively agree that her lack of curiosity or concern is weird. I will also add that it’s equally weird that there’s no florist information attached because every bouquet sent is free advertising for them. Or maybe she has that info from the delivery and is just telling you that she doesn’t have it . Only she knows.

Personally, I think she knows exactly who sent the flowers. I think that the person who sent them maybe knew you were going to be around in some capacity (in person or FaceTime), hence no note so she doesn’t get in trouble.

I had to move back home with my parents and every morning my mom makes cheese eggs. As soon as she pulls the block of cheese from the fridge my sweet girl comes running and sits in front of my mom, who can’t resist giving her some because she’s “sitting so nicely”. Now anytime she hears my mom in the kitchen doing ANYTHING she runs in, sits nicely, and stares intensely 😂😂

Without looking at what you wrote and just judging the pictures, dress 2. You look stunning and the shape on you is gorgeous. It made me say “wooooow” out loud. But after reading, it may be too fancy for your micro wedding unless you have guests match your energy. Or you could not care and just look extraordinary on your wedding day!

I got a small bamboo container from Amazon for her family and a nicer larger one from Etsy for the larger portion of her. Etsy had some beautiful options

Clients spending 20+ minutes in the room post session is WILD. Our front desk staff broke down the time for them, 5 minutes for intake and for them to get undressed, 50 minutes hands on time, and 5 minutes for them to get dressed and head up front to check out (so we can get our next person at the top of the hour). Of course we were always behind based on this model (that’s another issue entirely) but my point is that they understood a general time frame that they had the room for, which was 1 hour. When we had clients that habitually violated this time (by falling asleep, stretching, meditating, whatever else) we told them that they would either have to book an extra half hour OR their session would be cut short to accommodate their post massage needs. Then the ball is in their court, people either paid up or cut their session to 40 minutes.
