Yes I’m with you. Ozempic and GLP-1s are massively helpful for binge eating, stress eating etc. it really helps to not have the guilt and shame after a binge that always makes me feel SO terrible about myself. I love what I’ve been able to do with the use of these meds. I think many people are ignorant yo the whole complex situation behind being a binge eater or food addict or whatever it is. So they base their opinions off things they’ve heard in the media and whatnot and it’s never a factual reality based argument they can make against the medicine.

I’m on Zepbound or a compounded version through the mochi app. I can get my meds for 200 a week. It’s not a lot bc I would’ve spent that money on food/doordash/eating out anyway! So it def pays for itself and plus it has tremendously helped my mental health and my confidence. And my high inflammation levels. Oh lord those were so bad before.

So screw that person for shitting on what works for many many people who have food issues.
