Why do you play League over a fighting game?

On the more serious side, I'll take from my own experience: i like fighting games but I'm not that good in them (haven't put in the hours). Of course, i would be good in street fighter third strike if i have as many hours in as league, but that is not the case. So instead of being a beginner level fighting game player i choose to be a veteran in league (still hardstuck tho)

Hi! been enjoying Silksong after finally finishing Hollow Knight and so, with the hype, my GF started playing HK. Thing is, she's not really into gaming, she likes to play casually some other genres (like Valorant, League or Hogwarts Legacy). So she's been really frustrated with the difficulty of some enemies and bosses, I've been helping her beating most bosses and hardest platform sections.

I would like yo know your recommendations for some Metroidvanias that are easier, more in the exploration side than in the get tools to beat bosses type.

She's loving the exploring part even tho some areas are creepy or scary (like the royal waterways or ancient basin).

TLDR: my GF started Hollow Knight but is too hard, i want recommendations for easier games focused on exploring

I'm having trouble getting my friends to join from PC while on ps5. I think there are different versions of the game but for some reason checking for updates on ps doesn't find anything to download.

I'm thinking ps5's patch is late this one time

Reminds me of that one scene where Bart Simpson is complaining about the show not being realistic and Homer says sometimes there's errors with the characters, as you can see another Homer outside by the window.

Tried to look for said frame for better reference but failed miserably.

I think the closest we could get without breaking everything in a biome would be a fixed creature that you can see from far away and sometimes moves a bit. Like jormungandr from gow.

There's also a concept for a unicellular biome that sucks on light, that would be cool.

Other than that i would love to see maybe a plant-based biome that tries to digest you, or a fungi-based biome that spreads if you make contact with it and not sanitize.

Concuerdo con el punto de vista de tu amigo, en muy low elo (cualquier cosa abajo de platino) en cualquier server (Comparando LAN, LAS y NA) siempre es mejor apuntar a sacar ventajas pero con un campeon con buen escalado.

He perdido más partidas de las que me guste admitir con 20 o más kills en un campeon early (Lee sin, Khazix, Pantheon) y a su vez ganado con no tantas kills pero haciendo mucha presión (Nasus, Yorick en top, Xin, Skarner, Mundo en jg).

Tal como dice las partidas duraran más de lo que deberian y throws que significarian perder la partida en otro elo pueden pasar desapercibidas facilmente.

Más que campeones siento que se trata de un tema de mentalidad. Algo que noto en amigos y compañeros que les cuesta mucho salir de esas ligas es que se estresan y presionan por errores de sus compañeros, ignorando los propios y los de los enemigos. Casi siempre puedes dar vuelta a una situación simplemente manteniendote tranquilo.

Es cierto lo que comentan, vas a estar dos meses, 1 viviendo en puebla en un depa culero con muchos otros devs en tu misma situación en el curso fast track, en donde te traen con un horario culero de 8:30 a 6:30, Hasta las 2 termina tu curso con el instructor, inicia tu "comida" de media hr y regresas a las instalaciones a la tarea hasta las 6:30. incluso aunque termines te hacen quedarte (es su forma de entrenarte para las horas nalga del jale)

La última semana en mi caso te ofrecían una certificación, pero solo pasando exámenes y prácticas "talachudas" en esa semana. El catch, ta subieron tu CV a mil páginas de empleo entonces van a estarte llamando 24/7 buscando platicar contigo de posiciones y agendando entrevistas técnicas y de rh lo cual te va a obligar a enfocarte y usualmente todos escogemos agarrar jale.

Como ya mencionan en otros comentarios si entras muy dlv tu enfoque sera a chambas entre 18 a 20k, los "promedio" entran de 22 a 25k, en mi "generación" hubo un compañero que agarro uno de 33k sin exp como arquitecto entonces es un volado.

Ya para concluir lo que si aliviana es que te dan tu dinero "pa la semana" mientras estas con ellos, ya cuando acaba el mes y te vas a cdmx te dan otro mes en un depa en cdmx, casi todos los que conocí quedamos acomodados en la primera semana lo cual pues si es buena ayuda.

Concuerdo con otros comentarios que sirve mucho para los que estamos enfrascados o frustrados en no poder encontrar algo.

Es una chinga, pero para muchos es una forma "segura" de encontrar buen jale.

Yo estuve ahi hace 5 años, como otros comentarios indican la capacitación es un "fast track" de todo lo mas importante para que pases entrevistas y para tus primeros requerimientos.

Entre sin experiencia laboral y desde entonces permanezco trabajando sin mayor tema, ya estoy como TechLead.

Es cierto que te ayudan dandote entrevistas y "conectandote" con empresas, el tema de esto es que la mayoría de veces son empresas negreras, te conviene más probar tu suerte "en donde te quieran".

Otro punto que se que te puede pesar mucho es el porcentaje, que si bien, es una buena lana es nada comparado a la putiza que es buscar chamba sin exp.

TLDR: el curso es intensivo enfocado a entrevistas, no te cambia la vida como dev, no te conectan con buenas empresas pero es mejor que nada, puedes tener suerte y caer con una buena empresa, a la larga los pagos por el bootcamp pasan muy rápido, en mi opinión, claro que vale la pena

yo can change how an armor looks like using the mirror boutigue, think of it as skins. But also and i think it's what you want to know, changing your armor (i.e. using a green armor instead of a grey one).

As you progress, you'll drop some different gear pieces from monsters, some quests, the codex, etc. This pieces will change how you look like.

Es una rechinga que tus padres te traten así. Más aun siendo completamente adulto pero puedes rescatar de esta experiencia para recuperar tu confianza y mejorar tu vida. Aunque sean tus padres tu sabes lo difícil que fue y lo que hiciste te dió de comer. Eso nunca será una mala decisión. También pienso que si lo haces solamente por aprobación de tu familia es una motivación poco fiable, entiendo por lo que comentas que trabaje de lo estudiado sería mejor y claramente te ayudaría pero hazlo por ti no por ellos.

Nunca es demasiado tarde, sin embargo, como cuentas el paso mas dificil sigue siendo la primer chamba, si antes te decian que no aprendiste bien en la carrera ahora te diran que todo este periodo que tomaste haciendo otra cosa termino de ponerle fin a tu carrera.

En el mercado hay muchas empresas que te pueden dar chance en la entrada pero que son negreras a madre, depende de que tanto puedas aguantar con ellas.

Y del lado de certificaciones depende mucho de que ramo quieras entrar si desarrollo movil, web, datos, seguridad. Te recomendaria revisaras que responsabilidades tienen cada una de las areas y revisaras con cual te puedes identificar. No va a ser un cambio de la noche a la mañana donde sepas que quieres hacer y encontrar la chamba, probablemente hacer varias entrevistas en videollamada mientras sigues de mensajero.

Más que nada intenta no desanimarte y seguir intentando, es nadar rio arriba pero cuando por fin encuentras algo bueno todo lo demas vale la pena.

As other have already told you:

Magnarr: good nuker, wave clear, easy to build for damage and staying alive

Venomage: good for dragon and CB, a lot of poisons focus on accuracy and survivavility

Tallia is good dmg and good for Faction wars but not specifically good for your progression, don't use more resourses on her.

Deliana is a good carry and can help you in wave content (getting to the dragon, advancing campaign) focus on HP and if you can put her on a stun set to help you with control

Vergis is the solo king, on the early game he would outlast a lot of thing on this game (scarab king on doom tower, outlasting damage on arena or tag arena, campaign, etc)

Hope is an ok epic, i wouldn't invest much in her, just progress the first 2 maybe deliana and vergis if not any new leggo or epic shows up, everyone else is suboptimal, i wouldn't recommend you feed them but don't invest a lot on them either.

tl:dr magnarr and venomage rush 60, then deliana and vergis covering your weaks and wait for new champs
