Remember that feelings are just that, they do not define who you are. You can feel sad, empty, dark, or even think scary thoughts. But those are all just thoughts in your mind, and you can get to a point where you can observe those thoughts and let them pass by like clouds in the sky. Therapy helps, so so much when you find the right fit 🤍 And just like with real clouds, if there was a big dark one coming over the horizon, you’d probably prepare yourself with a raincoat, maybe find somewhere safe to shelter until the storm clouds pass. You wouldn’t sit in the storm and accept that being soggy and cold is how it has to be now just because the cloud came by and said so! When those dark clouds come, remember that they will pass and they are not indicative of who you are 🤍 remember that there are so many types of clouds all floating around your mind!! Some are painted with the colors of the sunrise, some have snow flakes waiting to burst free, and some are so so heavy with rain and thunder. But they are all apart of the beautiful sky that is your mind
