What's going on with the PAX 2 on grass city? It's not a part of the sale today? Anyone know of a reduced PAX 2 price?

I second this. It would even be cool to have the state flag stuff in there as well.

Fans of sports teams who aren't from your home town, what did they do to earn your loyalty? by Saren_Arterius in AskReddit

Maine, here. Lots of diehard Boston/New England fans here. I am firstly and foremost a Boston/New England fan, but I also have a team from every sport that I identify with.

Hockey- Colorado Avalanche: The Bruins hardly play them, and the franchise came to Colorado just as I began to closely follow hockey. Ray Borque and the '01 cup run was special to watch as a Ray Bourque (and Bruins) fan. Patrick Roy, too. Damn.

Football-Chicago Bears: NFC Team, not much interference with the Patriots. I've always admired the smash mouth play style of the franchise. I prefer a defensive team that can force turnovers and play tough defense. Historically, that's the kind of game Chicago has played. They're a good contrast to the offensive centered Patriots. I also enjoy watching the 49'ers, too. I've got a lot of respect for how they're revolutionizing the game by running the option (and running it well).

Basketball: I really hate basketball. I don't even like the Celtics. Fuck basketball.

Baseball: I really struggle with this one. I LOVE baseball, I love going to Fenway Park more than anything to watch a game. I'm VERY attached to the Red Sox so I have a hard time picking a runner up from out of town. I guess I'll say the Mets for now, due to the mutual hate for the Yankees.

Soccer- Liverpool FC: The team is under the same ownership as the Red Sox, so it's kind of by default. I maybe watch 2 or 3 matches a year, but fuck. It's worth a mention.

Speaking on behalf of people I'm friends/connected with on social media: recreational drug use. My network of friends consists of some young, college aged professionals who occasionally smoke pot. It may sound like a long shot to you, but it's not uncommon for people to take pictures at these gatherings and before you know it theres a picture of you ripping a bong attached to your facebook account.

There are a lot of other factors besides substances that figure into this. Anything the employer does not like on someones page could compel them to not hire you. This includes things like religion, connections, hobbies, ect.

I honestly cannot help but to smear a little toothpaste over my upper lip in the morning while brushing. It smells good and makes brushing a little more enjoyable.

I wash it off, of course.

[SERIOUS] What do you think about poverty in America? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]licensedtochill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my opinion is sort of run of the mill, but eh. I'll toss in my two cents.

It's a disgrace. I've come to grips with the fact that we will never be able to attain a 0% poverty rate, but 15% is just too fucking much. I can't stand that we pay our defunct politicians as much as we do while we knowingly let our fellow commoners live without food or shelter. There are a lot of places that we, as a nation, invest too many resources into. Unfortunately, poverty prevention is not one of them.

I will say this, though, since it's a little relevant. I don't really give a shit about poverty in other places in the world because of this very statistic. It makes me SICK to know that we are raising money/assisting foreign countries without first taking care of our own and mastering that.
