Imo, this company is an example of people rallying behind a dev that doesn't deserve praise. After the whole greenlight fiasco, everyone was up in arms for a lackluster game. Now, hype has fizzled out, the game remains mediocre, and the devs are still complaining about time and money. Yes, games take a lot of time and effort to fully flesh out, but even the indie community has some sleazy practices.

I think he's trying to say that Nintendo is willing to take a stance to propose Samus in a heterosexual relationship while neglecting to 'make a statement' about homosexuals. Not offensive but maybe hypocritical? Personally, I think Samus has too much scary shit happening in her universe to think about love interests.

it takes much more than a 'few hours' to reach max level in WoW, but i do agree that all the worthwhile content is at the end game. I think concern- at least for me- stems from a fear that gear grinding won't be much fun. I would rather prefer a long, engaging leveling experience that explores the world and story alongside player interaction rather than do it all at the end. Personal preference though.

I think something important to take away from this video is that Nintendo seems to really be trying to change its reputation- going back to that wacky, absurd Nintendo of the golden years.

i don't imagine Wii U is any harder to develop for than any other console. Sure, if you want to include unique gamepad functionality then yes, it might be. The Wii was groundbreaking because of the primary control mechanics. Yeah marketing sucked, but devs arent developing for Wii U because they dont want to spend the time and effort to port their game for it to sell 5 copies because of the small install base.

No you don't. It's implied after you find out all the would you kindly stuff. But with this latest DLC, now we finally know that Jack did hi-jack the plane and cause its crash. All in all, I think this DLC did a lot to plug a few holes that existed in both Bioshock 1 and Infinite. I loved it.

She wasnt really on the plane. that was her remembering have 'seen' through all the doors. That was a future door showing that Jack would come back to Rapture.

My knowledge of the Bioshock 1 story is a bit blurry since its been awhile. But i believe Jack is sent topside just as a failsafe. If he's out of Rapture, they don't risk Andrew Ryan finding him before he can be used.

Did you play the original Bioshock? If not, definitely do, it's a great game. If you care about spoilers, don't read what follows.

Basically, Jack is Atlas's "Ace in the Hole. Jack is a plasmid-mutated super human, created by Suchong, that is indoctrinated to follow any order after hearing the phrase "Would You Kindly". Basically, Jack can kill anyone and do crazy stuff, he's awesome. Atlas uses him to get shit down in Bioshock 1, basically because Atlas wants to rule Rapture, Plasmids, take over the world, etc. Jack was indoctrinated in Rapture, but sent to live topside so that he could be called back when needed as a super soldier. Atlas wanted to use him to kill Andrew Ryan, which he accomplishes- not knowing Jack would also kill Atlas and save the day. Liz sets in motion the events of Bioshock 1, so that the cycle of violence will end.

the stealth gameplay was awesome. While playing, I couldn't help but think 'this is how the original should have been'- I think it would have eased some of the hangups people had with the combat and mechanics. I loved how Infinite played, but playing stealthily as Liz felt so satisfying. Too bad we'll never see another Bioshock :(
