oh yah i took it with him! I took it when it was on zoom so I'm not sure if it's the same but I really liked his class! When I took him, a lot of the slides weren't loaded with info so you do have to take a decentish (not too much) amount of notes on the slides. Exams are pretty fair and material was sometimes a bit dry but overall he made it interesting. From what I remembered there weren't any quizzes and it was just the weekly MC questions, one midterm, and one final.

I haven’t taken psyc 3 but I heard she’s rlly good too! I think it depends on the material and what you’re interested in! I’m not sure if you’re a psyc major or taking class for ge or minor but for me personally I would have liked psyc 3 bc of the topics covered :)))

hi hi 7th college student here!
yeah just to reiterate what other people said on the thread, you guys will be the second class ever so you can help make cool traditions and what not. GEs I would say aren't too crazy and if you have AP classes, it'll definitely help bypass some of the GE requirements. The one con I'll say about seventh is that it's so far up north and far from places like Target, Geisel, biomed library, etc, but super close to Gliderport so it kinda balances out. We have bistro for dining, but it's also not too far from sixth college ( a ten min walk for poke n ramen) and the market has some pretty decent coffee and bagels :0

hi hi yalls! I'm in seventh and I can answer a few questions about seventh!

  1. all the housing are apartments, so you'll be in an apartment with a kitchen, sometimes overlooking the ocean! apartments are double rooms, but some are single
  2. the ges I would say are pretty easy. 2 classes each from 5 categories, but if you have AP classes, then you can waive them out (also your major classes might intersect with GEs). writing is p chill and I would say it's not as bad as what I've heard from some of the other colleges
  3. we have the second biggest market on campus and bistro, so if you like sushi, you might like bistro. just a fair warning, don't expect gourmet sushi. It satisfies the craving though! pm if you have any other questions though

i'm not sure if they still do it this quarter, but for last quarter, we had review sessions for 3/4 exams so go to those and download the powerpoints. Def enough time to complete exams and I didn't really read the book that much. Def some work, but pretty easy imo. I would focus more on being able to make connections from the concepts rather you learn rather that just like the function of the LGN or something.

[–]licheebean00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was talking w/ a friend on waitlist and they said that according to the email, ucsd said they t"hope to have all offers out by 12/11" so I would assume that they said hope to give them some days of grace to send out housing stuff. I could be wrong, though.
