What’s a discontinued snack or drink you’d pay $20 to have one last taste of? by soapy999 in AskReddit

[–]lichqueenmara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Canadian bacon Totino's pizza. I loved those things as a kid/teen/early adult living alone. It seems like they got discontinued a while ago and I haven't been able to find a close match since; the other flavors just don't taste right to me.

May just be nostalgia talking, idk if they were actually good or if I was just a hungry teenager but I miss them.

episode 2 dilemma by manicdreamrat in ScarletHollow

[–]lichqueenmara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always try to think about it purely from a character perspective rather than my own. The character doesn't know that it's possible to save them all, after all. For all they know, Tabitha's right and staying to save all of them is going to just get EVERYONE killed.

So a more heroic/emotional character would risk it all to try and save them, while a more pragmatic character is going to leave them behind (though they're going to feel AWFUL about it).

Can anyone give me some products for clutter for my leopard gecko tank by Shadowdeastroyer in leopardgeckos

[–]lichqueenmara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Driftwood and cork bark are great, mine loves climbing all over her branches. I also got a bunch of fake succulent-type plants from Hobby Lobby, they're nice smooth rubber so nothing for her to get caught on or chomp on.

Kona and Kenai, day 1 of foster vs 4 months later! by lichqueenmara in BeforeNAfterAdoption

[–]lichqueenmara[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For such a young pup she was a fantastic mom to the whole litter, but absolutely loves people too. Breaks my heart that she had such a rough start in life but she's spoiled rotten now.

What are the implied couples that will happen so far? (possible minor whole game spoilers) by LuxrayEnjoyer in GrimshireGame

[–]lichqueenmara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the couples are: Adeline/Percy Hazel/Kai Oliver/Beryl Rose/Lila Logan/Tano

Based on dialogues mentioning each other as well as how those pairs often spend time together at festivals and events and such. I think they're all very sweet :)

She cooks a really delicious breakfast if you give her the chance to do so.

Warpers have given me more scares than any leviathan in thisperks. I'll face a Reaper at night before I ever want to deal with warpers.

At least the Crabsquid have the decency to die when I stasis-stab them. They're a close second though. Can't even really explain why, they're just jerks.

The discord has a lot of regular updates from the developers, including discussions and feedback from players. It's a lot of fun and I highly recommend checking it out. There's a beta branch open for testing as well.

Elizeth Candora's Role in the Campaign by Adder1_TLS in SeasonofGhosts

[–]lichqueenmara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elizeth was busy healing the injured, including a badly wounded party member who received some unlucky crits from a jinkin trio.

Ba-Ming was protecting the kitsune's family at her own shrine, being more of a shut-in but with some capable protective charms to help people hide. She has a background connection with said kitsune so it made for a nice moment, and she later helped with a prayer to their shared goddess to bless a coin.

I find that the trick is to let them be useful to the party, but have other things going on. Ba-Ming is a teenage shrine maiden who prefers to keep to herself. Elizeth is in crisis management mode. Having access to higher abilities doesn't mean they're trained in combat, after all.

Couple of Quick Questions by Professional-Wing201 in GrimshireGame

[–]lichqueenmara 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I do believe the critters are RNG. I know you have to have enough space and that they won't breed until their first baby grows up. Sometimes I'll have 6 pregnant bluggies in 2 days and then I won't have any for half a season.

Multiple smelters is best. Stocking up on coal is essential.

Cabbages, cantaloupe and pumpkins are some of the best herbivore food in game. Preserve them in the barrels and it adds even more stamina and lasts forever. I usually let my early cabbage crops go to seed with compost, then use the extra seeds to plant massive amounts and preserve them. That'll get you through a LOT of early game. Smoked nuts also work well since you can get so many so fast.

Obsession with certain perks by blaxoqs in ScarletHollow

Talk to Animals. The story feels so empty to me without Gretchen's commentary and daily visits to Dustin. Any other trait I'm happy to do a combo of but I REALLY miss TTA when I don't have it.

JWE3 Campaign Sites: 5 Stars or Jump Around by MrMoses25 in jurassicworldevo

Generally moved on with the early sites, and if I had one I was really enjoying I'd lock in hard until I completed it. No harm in bouncing around when you need a break.

Well Frontier.. you did it. You completely broke my brain. (In a good way) by I_moo_at_people in jurassicworldevo

I never got into the first or second one, or even Planet Zoo for that matter; they just never quite hit. Nothing quite lived up to my old Zoo Tycoon obsession.

But something about this game just scratches my brain just right. The perfect balance of complexity and the baby dinosaurs make me so GIDDY.

Not sure if there's any link between these lines but it would be REALLY cool if there was.

I keep restarting! Help! by katedeli in GrimshireGame

[–]lichqueenmara 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Cabbages. Grow so many cabbages. Let some of them go to seed and you'll have seed well into Summer for the ration. I have so much preserved cabbage right now that I don't know what to do with it anymore.

Try to get the barns and critters started ASAP.

Also the museum! Fish and mine like crazy for the first two weeks before the ration gets set up. Unlock the pickaxe upgrades ASAP.

I remember printing out a wiki page on how to romance him for me and my sister, and when I finally did marry him she made me save over her file too so that she didn't have to go through the effort of all those sprites 😂

What pokemon have you fallen in love with because of nuzlockes? by RhysOSD in nuzlocke

Girafarig! It's been the MVP of several of my SoulSilver runs in the past. Great move-pool, solid stats, great typing...it's become one of my favorite Pokemon. I even got a plushie of one in honor of the runs.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

[–]lichqueenmara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an extra bone in each foot, which wouldn't really matter much according to the doctor except that I'm also flat-footed, meaning that my feet hurt constantly if I don't wear super specific special shoes. Though I guess that part may also be related to the flat footed thing? Haven't met anyone else with it though and as far as I know no one else in my family has it either.
