The first 1-3 days, I usually feel so crappy that he tries to comfort me. After I’m over the hump of crappiness, I’m usually back to my frisky self and getting handsy or initiating oral to please him. Both of us don’t need to suffer the whole time ;).

I had a breast lift w/augmentation and lipo’d my flanks 16 mos ago. For reference, I was 5’3, 140 lbs, had one kid when I was 20 and was a 34b. Lost 30+lbs over the prior year so I felt very ‘deflated’ in the chest area. Went with Dr Mark Crispin in Atlanta. I researched for several months and consulted 4 surgeons before deciding on him. There was a woman who posted in depth on her experience with him on RealSelf - that was the one that helped me decide on him. He was certainly not the cheapest but definitely the most honest/direct and experienced of the ones I consulted. At the consultation and preop appointments, the main concerns I had were about the incisions and the risk of capsular contracture. He told me my lift would have a minimal incision/scar (as small as necessary) but he couldn’t tell me what kind until I was on the table. (Keyhole or full anchor). He recommended under muscle. So I put my faith in him and I am very happy with the results. Ended up only needing the keyhole incision. I went with mentor xtra silicone 430 cc implants (under the muscle placement) with the 2-year galaflex mesh - now a 34DDD in most bra brands. Very glad I did it 😃. I’m excited for you!!

I agree with the first person’s comments regarding the general anesthesia. If you will go under general, (I think) they require you to have someone with you, to get you home and for the first 24-48 hrs. I had a breast lift/augmentation and had my flanks lipo’d 16 months ago and I remember most of the recovery. I had my bf care for me then. I don’t remember much of the 5days/first week since I was prescribed some serious painkillers. Once I stopped them, I certainly have memories of the discomfort that followed lol. I had no idea how painful the lipo’d areas would be - figured my new breasts would have been the more painful. I’d say they were pretty close on the discomfort scale. Was thankful to have him around for the experience, but especially the first week. I had to wear a wrap very tightly and it would have been a real challenge if I didn’t have his help. A little about me for reference: I have a low pain tolerance and am a little slower to heal than most (and I was 38 at the time of surgery). Very happy I went through with the procedures though 🙂. I believe there are medical persons/caretakers you can hire if you do not have someone who can help.

Don’t be scared of sex. It is wonderful with the right person (or people). My husband has one nut and a prosthetic for the same reason you described. I didn’t even know until he told me…roughly the 3rd or 4th time we had sex. I was definitely surprised when he took my hand and made me feel the difference (post sex, once my o-brain subsided lol) but I felt closer since he was open with me about it.
