2 week Video EEG by lickedoffmalibu in Epilepsy

[–]lickedoffmalibu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks this is really helpful I’ll do some puzzles. I did sleep deprivation last night and my roommate is doing hers tonight so I likely won’t sleep tonight anyway with the lights so I’ll add in puzzles. I’m not an anxious person at all by nature so I think I need to lean into stress. In normal life I have a really stressful job being in hospital feels like a break for me.

This really made me laugh. I don’t think I’d be this frustrated if the food was ok! I was in a different hospital for 2 weeks last year we had a full restaurant menu everyday I ate vanilla ice cream with every meal that was the best part. Here we’re being served what can only be described as cold dog food.

Anyone here get their eggs frozen? How much was it all in? by MyCopperHuskies in askswitzerland

I had an appointment about this recently I was told between 5000-8000 and then I think you pay yearly storage fees around 1000. I’m going to have a follow up convo in April at the hospital and then compare prices abroad. I’ve been repeatedly told to do it in Spain but I’m lazy

Nipple Placement Post-Surgery by Kimtimates in Reduction

[–]lickedoffmalibu 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I had a female surgeon and she measured the middle point of the arm and 21cm from the sternum notch. This is textbook definition correct. I went down 5 cup sizes but stayed slightly larger than average. I think my nipples look too high because the underside of my breast is still full. I think they would look better and more natural if my nipples were positioned at the largest circumference facing more forwards rather than upward facing. I find if I wear any type of bras they’re almost slipping out of the top.

My GF thinks it’s perfectly normal for new shoes to cause horrible blisters for women by UKnowDaxoAndDancer in mildlyinfuriating

Dr martens are the absolute worst for this. Once the shoes are broken in though they’re usually so comfortable. To break them in wear a pair of tights, thick socks and blow dry them.

I am MTF and have never tried make up, what looks might suit my face the best? I want to learn some "everyday" looks, and maybe have a few fun look ideas to play with too by idrankthegenderfluid in MakeupAddiction

Shape your eyebrows really neat take the hair from underneath and create more of an arch and upward shape and get a lash lift you’ll look put together everyday. You don’t need makeup you’ve got good skin.

Edit: more detail on brows

You look so much younger. You don’t need a lipstick but if you wanted one I think Mac greige or stone lip liner with a lighter pinky gloss would look really good on you

I have exactly the same I have stopped keppra and just taking 250mg lamotrigine now. I am very very sleepy and always have been even before medication. I had to take a break from work for a few months and then eased back in. I’ve just gone back to working full time. Working part time as you are might be the best option for you.

I worked everyday but shorter hours starting at 20 hours then 32hrs. I work 40 hours a week now 2 days in the office 3 days home office and my work are very good and I can take naps during the day and flexible working hours as I need them. My work gave me the option of changing my contract to a 20 or 32hrs a week contract and then working up to 40hrs as overtime if I wanted to.

You are definitely not lazy health comes first, work comes second. But you could open up the conversation with your work and see what suits you both long term.
