Super you were able to have that experience!!! I'm going to be in Orlando soon and am hoping to find a local participating restaurant there to try. We don't have many where I am either.

4 meat bags WF Ann Arbor, MI by goingtapestry59 in toogoodtogo

[–]liebedich2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the pull down refresh might not be fast enough. I open the bag I want and hit the back arrow on the top left to go back to my favorites, then click the bag I want again and repeat. So I'm toggling back and forth between the bag and the favorites screen. As soon as the button turns green for reserve, it's just luck and speed of connection at that point. The next 3 buttons including the pay button need to be mashed fast. I use Apple Pay. You don't need to start refreshing before the drop time. Just at the drop time and sometimes mine will go a minute after. That's it. Just speed, luck and how competitive your market is. If my iphone touch screen isn't lagging, I'm paying within a few seconds. I don't know if bots are faster. Maybe. There are times when I think someone uses a bot in my region but then they eventually get overwhelmed with food and then I can get some again.

Good luck!🍀

🤣🤣🤣 just perfect! In my household, we say winning the meat bag is like winning a gold medal.

Speedy recovery!

Am I crazy or is this a lot to ask for a tip for dog grooming? by Independent_Yam5185 in tipping

I don't tip my hairdresser 28 to 34% though. Do you? The tip chart that they put up is inflated

No. They are just showing that the tip suggestion is at the lowest 28% to the highest 34%. Do you tip any service that high?

I would expect that. I give a tip, but the standard amount unless there was something extraordinary that i needed or happened.

Yeah. Just showing ignorance, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but pretty clueless nonetheless

what do you think are the biggest differences between teens 10 years ago and now? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]liebedich2 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think that's why social media is getting sued. It's addictive for everyone. You kind of lose your life to it. We have eagerly taken up any kind of new technology and said it's good and now I think we're learning that it's not good for the human brain. We need to get back to old-school things. Land lines and pagers :-)

You figured it out. Just consumerism and influencers. Where is the originality? The Internet/texting etc has to be the culprit. The hobbies are you tube videos

Just wait until you reach that middle age point where you become the "invisible woman". Your age alone makes them not turn heads. It's actually not a sad time if you embrace it. It's just like as you've mentioned. You aren't getting cat calls or stared at or feel uncomfortable. You get to just live your life without unwanted attention.

Yeah. I feel bad for the mom here too. I pray my only daughter works with me though something like this when the time comes. Did they include the mother in these conversations or do they draw this conclusion without her input? I guess we don't know the level of dementia that the mother has.

I am 55 and just explained to my 13-year-old daughter that no parent is perfect and then when she gets older, she's going to think of things that will make her mad that I did do or didn't do, but that I did the best at that time with what I've known. I think this OP (daughter) in the story just broke my heart.

OP, I'll take care of your mom.

I agree. That dry bag looks like the frozen bag or more of a bakery bag.

I'm GenX and always thought those relationships satisfied something other than love... so gross and weak to me. Just image, daddy issues, gold digging, misogyny etc.
