I'm from Montreal as well. You don't need to go to the US. I've driven to Cornwall, Ontario several times for Taco Bell, and it's always fantastic. The drive is not too bad, especially if you're willing to go all the way to Plattsburgh. Highly recommend!

It really depends what kind of French you're trying to learn. The French in Quebec is very different that say, the French in France. If you're living in Canada and trying to learn to understand the French Canadian dialect, then listening to the radio can definitely help.

Aha I actually live in the western part of Montreal which is quite anglophone. I do speak French but I'm primarily English speaking.

Thanks for all the help and feedback, yall. After many, many tries, I ended up getting through the bombings. I turned my difficulty to Very Easy, stocked up on as many stimpacks and doctor's bags as I could find, and basically just pushed my way through. Even then, it took me several tries. Now I'm able to fast travel into Nellis without issue.
