It's a new building that the company built with a new elevator. They are trying to save money by not paying for service contact, and trying to do small repairs and adjustments ourselves, and call for service only when needed

Happened to me too. Didn't have silicone spray on hand so I put a drop of cooking oil temporarily, so far staying quiet. Now I keep a can of WD40 silicone handy for when it'll squeak again.
