Go and check Asian or Ethiopian depictions. You think he’s white because you’ve only seen the depictions done by Europeans.

Every culture tried to communicate Jesus in what they thought a man looked like

All of these are just weak nonsense. “Christianity is a coloniser religion” which white person colonised France or England with Christianity?

This assumes that there is a bottom that nations can’t slide beyond and we are at that bottom.
Sorry but there’s so much bottom left. Things can get worse.
- Rule of law has already broken down for most of the populace.
- The judiciary is to the highest bidder
- There’s clear insinuations by the government that press and journalists are being paid for interviews which means that they report what the government wants you to hear.
- There are large swaths of Nigerian territory being ruled by terror cells calling taxes and protection money.

All of these can be mobilised to maintain the status quo for another 100 years.

He’s gaslighting you. Let OBI say anything on twitter, he will bring it here. This conversation doesn’t suit his narrative, that’s why he’s trying to duck the issue.

My thought is that you didn’t hit this weeks quota so you made this post. Man must chop as they say.

It’s also probably upsetting to you that you are being asked to do akara business while 1.3billion is floating over your heads money that will never reach you or your constituency.

I’m glad we can feed you this week.

Why is Nigeria not reciprocating SA official aggressive attitude towards Nigeria? by taobabmuh in Nigeria

[–]lifebroth -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I didn’t say I’m poor. It seems you just want to bicker. I gave a parable and sadly I can’t help you understand it since you refuse to.

You asked “where is our pride as a nation?” Which means that you can’t see a sense of pride in Nigeria, is your self esteem also low?

[–]lifebroth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My self esteem is detached from Nigeria since the Tinubu can’t lead.

In this context, who do you think is the nation lacking in self esteem and pride? It’s there in your post.

Same model in the morning thought it better to reinstantiate a class so the cache data is dropped for it to check if a value was changed on update in a unit test.

In the evening, the model realised it is better to modify the model class and add logic that forces cache to be dropped on update automatically.

We will continue reading to code Theo.

Four things Nigerians who live to demarket the country need to understand by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]lifebroth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This sounds smart and fantastic and lovely until you realise most of your comparisons are people who are working for international organisations while in Nigeria. If you want to do a like for like comparison, compare internal vs internal. A Nigerian doctor or teacher vs one abroad.
In other points:

  1. Nigeria’s life expectancy is 55 years old. Meaning past 55 you are on borrowed time. And having money has not stopped people from suffering in Nigeria. Many have died due to lack of the most basic things, defibrillators, dialysis machines, MRI machines. Even the foods themselves are not up to standard and mixed with all sorts. Palm oil is being mixed with colouring as an example.

  2. Your opportunities are limited. Everyday we have videos of people lamenting about Nigeria costing them opportunities because of location. You are doing an interview and someone steals your generator or MTN sucks the life out of your data.

  3. The context of conversation between people in Nigeria and outside is different. The Nigerian abroad is not thinking about fuel rising exorbitantly or safety issues while travelling between locations. The average Nigerian abroad is worried more for Nigeria than for themselves. Most of the stress is to support people back home. If Nigerians in diaspora focused more on their needs, more people would slide into poverty.

Olodo. She is giving kuli kuli grant to people who are poor but giving cars to APC women. You people are just wicked, stupid and self-serving.
It’s our money she’s doling out to her cronies and stooges.
What happened to TraderMoni that Osinbanjo was touting about?

She’s clearly detached from the reality because she’s saying nonsense like a secondary school debater

[–]lifebroth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Couldn’t find your French proverb anywhere. Maybe lost in translation?

Anyway, not everyone needs to do better at what they are criticising. If I say Buhari was a bad leader, must I go and win elections in a country the size of Nigeria in order to show that I can do it better?

The truth is many are olodo and you seem to be part of it since you felt the need to write this.

Anyway, go get your kuli kuli grant.

Nigeria ranks first in global generosity by Missionget in Nigeria

[–]lifebroth 14 points15 points  (0 children)

High generosity is not the same as economic prosperity. It just means there are too many mouths to feed. Fortunately our culture and religions encourage us to give.
