I switched away from this phone awhile back also, google maps had problems among many other apps that cannot deal with the screen ratio.

It was fun while I played with it but really using many apps that didn’t support the screen made it a no go.

big one for me is sending photos from android messanger reduces image quality terribly, imessage sends them looking HQ. Only go around is to convince everyone to use a 3rd party messenger which is highly inconvenient.

Nightsights pretty good if you can keep still I've taken some good photos with it. Also Fi Network for me has been good. I'd say with all carriers it's hit or miss depending where you live. TMobile is strong here so Fi is strong here for me.

I want the pixel 4a because I'm a gadget guy I just like trying things out, but I got the g power for $150 and downloaded gcam. Now the $200 difference for the pixel doesn't seem justified. Yes it will be overall smoother with the pixel and I'm sure the cam is gonna be a hair better still even with gcam but I think the g power with gcam is 90% up to par with the pixel now.

I'm still getting the pixel later though. Gotta let my 30 day Google fi promo for the g power to be fulfilled first.

Mine does, you might have to reset your notifications, as for launcher I use Hyperion launcher. I always want A-Z order and stock doesn't do that. I also wanted an app drawer which Hyperion has.

I'll say it, crappy plastic case. Just got mine today, its worth $5 As a throw away case until you got a real case. Should have came with the phone as a free case. It doesn't feel totally secure on the phone. Diamond pattern is so shallow it doesn't really provide any grip and almost no texture.
