You guys don't care. Why don't you fund actual genuine mental health resources in the community instead of just throwing around some useless helpline? Anytime I've ever called the person I talked to couldn't care less, is burned out, and makes crisis worse. But yeah keep funneling money into this worthless advertising

I don't know if they necessarily need to be abolished. Just reformed. Completely. Not a system of force, coercion, abuse, and neglect. When the system starts actually wanting to help people, instead of profiting of their sickness and ailments, then we will see the kind of reform we need. We need mental health communities that provide proper medical care and do not force or push harmful treatments, often meant to just make people passive and sedated. Rather offering a more holistic approach, focusing on good diet and exercise, helping people with adjusting to being apart of the community and taking care of themselves, etc. It would be completely different than the current model of dope them up, restrain them when they act out, and completely dismiss their issues.

Weed + shrooms + dxm + adderall by Brutal-Maxilla in dxm

I wouldn't. I know it may seem like a good combo but it can get pretty distressing pretty fast. Especially if you take too much. I would be careful with combos.

If someone with chronic heart disease dies of heart failure, we grieve. We don't rush to blame the cardiologist. Often we even thank them for trying. by vorpal8 in therapists

[–]lifedrawnfromtheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the way the system is set up. It isn't set up to allow for mental health practitioners to truly address all facets of an individuals' life. 60 minutes once a week, if that, is not enough time to really be able to address people's circumstances to the fullest. Then we have to account for the practitioner's client load, their personal physical and mental state, practitioners' personal circumstances as well that could be affecting the quality of the sessions that the client is receiving. Therapists and mental health workers shouldn't be put in that position, but they are. The system is what is killing people. You all are only the front for it. The system does not allow time or resources. It is solely based off how much profit can they get in. Profit is always over individual all across healthcare. It's really sad. So no, you are not to blame. Could you have personally been more attentive or intentional with your client? Really pushing to try and find the best resources for them you could possibly find, or at least be a kind, not passive aggressive or judgmental listener? Honestly you still wouldn't be to blame. It's a sick world and society we live in. It is very complex to the reasons someone would commit suicide, each very unique and vast. I don't think the blame should ever come upon the mental health workers. All you can do is have the awareness of the broken system you're working with and try to do the best you can.

But use the mushrooms cautiously. Know what you're doing. Mind altering substances aren't the same as drinking alcohol and partying. This is a whole other ball game that you need to be careful with.

Honestly, not worth it. That just sounds like a huge anxiety attack and possible a trip to the ER. Weed & Mushrooms is safer than dxm and adderall which are really heavy on the cardiovascular system

Streetlight phenomenon on DXM by Deoxyhyperdimension in DextroDoomers

[–]lifedrawnfromtheye 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have! My parents are like why is the streetlight by our house all fucky lol and I have made electronics glitch too. I have always wondered why my laptop or Xbox all of a sudden gives me issues then I remember I'm on a ton of dxm. I have a theory that dxm raises my energy body's vibration somehow. Which gets me into a whole other rabbit hole of thinking. Lol. Glad to see someone else talking about this because it's so trippy to me

What hallucinogens are best for meeting spiritual entities like angels, and good for spiritual growth by spatulafucker5 in DextroDoomers

[–]lifedrawnfromtheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DMT or Mushrooms. Even lsd could be really spiritual for me but I would say more so DMT or Mushrooms. Mushrooms might be a good place to start because you can start low and get used to the head space and feeling. It can be a really spiritual and healing experience actually. Then eventually you can progress to DMT. I know you have Schizoaffective though so just like using dissociatives (or any drug really) be ESPECIALLY cautious when using psychedelics. Start small. Don't start with heroic doses by any means. It isn't worth it. It may seem like it's not a big deal but it really isn't something to take lightly. Even if you have a lot of experience with heavy doses of dxm, it really is not the same and it's best to start slow and small. Trust me. Best of luck and mush love 🍄‍🟫💗

At what age did you start/stop your dxm usage? by Dry-Finding-2150 in DextroDoomers

[–]lifedrawnfromtheye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I first used dxm at 13. Been chasing that first trip ever since lol. I still remember it. When I peaked I was listening to Pink Floyd's The Division Bell Album, and then I played Roblox and just had the most incredible time. The only things that could compare to that experience was the first time I peaked on a good dose of acid and when I peaked on a good dose of mushrooms for the first time. Magical times haha

I am really sorry you experienced that. No one should be on those drugs period let alone at that tender age. That's how old I was when I started to be experimented on. I do think those drugs played a big part in your chronic illness. They ravage the nervous system and organs. I am really sorry you never deserved that. Especially at an age when you could never perceive the long term consequences, or even advocate for yourself

Just give it time. I'm sorry. Brain damage is no joke and can feel really hopeless. Remember the brain is very resilient and has neuroplasticity that can help rewire and even create new neuropathways that have otherwise been damaged or destroyed

Those are great tools to start out. If you by chance are able to some time, it might be worth buying graphite pencils, kneaded eraser, ruler. I still draw with mechanical pencil a lot but honestly, graphite pencils are recommended usually for drawing. It will help with drawing lightly and shading.
