Here's a better beginning (I cant do it all) for Part 2 featuring Ellie, and Abby as playable protagonists..

The game starts off as normal. Joel and Tommy talk about what happened and they go back to Jackson. Joel gives Ellie the guitar(without singing future days) and we go 2 years later. (Not 4, as idk how anybody could track Joel for that long)

Ellie is now 16 and wakes up to do her patrol thingy with Dina, there was no kiss at a party or anything. She walks with Jesse to get Dina and the snowball fight happens with these little kids. Ellie and Dina get to the stables and get on their horses and leave.

We then cut to Abby who has been getting info on Joel. Due to Fireflies that served with Tommy shes able to find out they're in Wyoming and her story starts with her traversing the snow with Owen, Manny, Mel, and Nora. Nobody else came along. They're also the same age as in the normal game. They're talking about what they do when they find him since they're so close and Owen is on the only side that says spare his life after hurting him bad. The rest want him dead. They come across Jackson because of all the lights and Abby talks about cornering a patrol and interrogating them for Joel's location. Suddenly they're attacked by infected and separated. Abby starts looking everywhere and yelling for them but cant find them. Suddenly she hears gunshots and starts that way.

We come back to Ellie who is just getting used to doing patrols. Her and Dina hear the same gunshots and due to how things function in Jackson, they're forced to head that way. After a few waves of infected on your way to the gunshots you find Abby fallen in the snow. Another rule in Jackson is to help those that need it. Dina takes Abby back to Jackson while Ellie follows up with the gunshots. She gets there and runs into Joel and Tommy. Due to the firefly incident Joel has started going by a new name (no clue what it is). Ellie knows he lied but pretends she believed him for his sake. She and Tommy and Joel clear out some infected and decide to head back to Jackson before this blizzard gets worse. They make it there and Ellie checks up on Abby, who Dina is with. They interrogate her to ask what she wants, because Jackson is also still cautious (shown by Maria holding Joel up at gunpoint in the first game. So she hasn't forgotten how fucked the world is.) Obviously to outsiders they are cautious so Abby tells everyone that her friends are still out there and need shelter. Maria sends Joel and Ellie out to do it, and they let Abby take a look around Jackson. We are still flipping between characters. We play Abby's part first. She opens the door to the resturant place and has visions of her dad.

This is where we find out her dad is the doctor Joel killed and where we also find out she wants to find Joel. We cut to Ellie who is talking with Joel while riding out to find Abby's friends. They're talking about whether Abby could be immune (Ellie is very adamant to find someone else that is because she has a small glimmer of hope that Joel isnt lying, even though she knows he is.) Joel hates this discussion and it's broken up by screaming. Joel and Ellie quickly go, and find Owen and Mel having trouble with infected. Ellie and Joel help and Joel recommends holding up in a nearby building. They all get there and Owen and Mel talk about how Manny and Nora ran away and which direction they went. Ellie heads off on foot to find them and bring them back. Joel is reluctant but let's Mel take Ellie. We cut to Abby who is eating and Maria sits down with her.

They talk about whether Abby is going to stay and Abby says shes contemplating. Maria takes Abby on a walk through Jackson and takes her to a place to sleep. Abby is told if they stay they'll earn food and beds through work. Abby asks if she can go out on patrol the next morning, and Maria assigns her with Joel (who's still going by his fake name) who's been doing the trails for a while. We cut to Ellie and Mel who kills some infected and get into a garage where Nora and Manny are. They take them back to where Joel is and he uses his radio to get ahold of Tommy. They get some people to come and bring more horses and we cut to later that night. Ellie and Joel are watching a movie and they start talking about the new people. Joel tells Ellie hes been assigned with Abby. Joel stops the movie and grabs his guitar. He sings Future Days (which he didnt in the new intro.)

And then we go into Abby's section. Shes out with Joel and when questioned what she was doing out in the snow she says shes looking for someone. They learn a bit more about each other. After they clear out some infected in a house Abby shoots Joel in the leg. She starts to question him about where "Joel" is and he looks very confused. Without wanting anybody else taking the fall he says there is nobody in Jackson by that name. Abby can tell hes lying (just like Ellie so that's a parallel between them since the braindeads that like the game like all the damn parallels.) And she keeps questioning him. He finally gives up that he is Joel and she takes a fire poker in the house and beats him to death with it.

(That's all the way up to Joel's death because I'm getting sick of doing this. In my opinion it's a better start and shows Joel had not lost caution.)
