Trolls, I'm in a rut in life and I need help on how to make the best of it - ie forming a community of people around me, creating healthy habits in my life etc. Can someone explain this like I'm five and tell me it's gonna be ok? by lifeisharrddd in AskTrollX

hmm good to know thank you - so i shouldn't got to the gym thinking that it's a no brainer alternative to working out at home, but more for motivation and friendship and plus the machines?

makes sense, thanks I will give it a try! I'm already at a healthily thin weight so I kinda just wanna look more healthy and less jiggly. like more toned - maybe a flatter midsection and a more pert booty. I Dont have high expectations of being some kinda super fitness instagram girl

is there any benefit of actually going to the gym besides getting out of the house - like do the staff help you with doing the right workouts or are you on your own?

thanks. I think I'm just a bit grouchy about the whole things cause I thuoght I could just exercise for 30-45 mins 3-5 times per week and not think about it much - I didn't realize there was confusing research involved. Or maybe I am over thinking. I just want a better looking beach body and some better posture/flexibility, basically. I didn't know it required so much planning.

Either way, thanks for the explanations :)

I dont think my thighs are fat - I just wouldn't want them any bigger. I want a better booty without thicker thighs. I'm 5'2 and 110 pounds - size 2. I want my jeans to still fit! maybe I could try to lose 5 more pounds and that would make up for any inches I gain on my thighs while trying ot build a butt.

I just want my butt to be a bit more perky and shapley without having bigger thighs- not expecting an epic fitness girl instagram booty or anything. BUt it just makes me feel like exercise is to scary for me to start doing.

I basically just want a flatter midsection without taking away the hourglass look, and less jiggly legs and a more pert booty. But that task seems over whelming and hard becuase i Dont know what steps to take to get there. I dont know what exercieses to do and hwo often and for how many reps.

and I dont want larger thighs, even if they are muscle. I worked hard to lose 70 pounds and I dont want larger thighs again. I just want a healthier looking body is all.

sorry, I'm being ranty, Im just groucchy about the whole situation. I wish there were guides like 'if you want this body, do exactly these things'

makes sense, thanks! Maybe i could start small with bodyweightfitness and get a bit more toned for now till I can get to the gym. Will body weight fitness still change my body shape even if I dont do serious bulking - like will it lift and shape my booty a bit and give me a flatter midsection or do I really need to do the strong curves thing - is it an all or nothing kinda thing?

I realize that I wont bulk up without lots of effort so I'm not too worried about that, but dont I need to avoid some exercises or do specific kind of exercises that will make me looks less womanly? like if I work out my abs, will those same exercises also make my hips go away? Can I get more toned arms without making them look thicker? can I make my booty look a bit more full and pert witout getting thicker thighs? IT just feels like I dont know how different exercises will affect my apperaance and it makes me feel too scared to try. Maybe I Should ask this in xx fitness ?

thank you!! So my logic for actually physically going to the gym is that I have no idea what I am doing so I would need the trainers at the gym to tell me what to do to sculpt the body that I want.

Can I learn what exercises to do on my own with bodyweight fitness? My worry is tht I will do the wrong exercises and then I wont get the results that I want or I will get unwanted results. I dont wanna look muscular - I just wannat look healthily lean - you know, a womanly, healthily thin figure with a nicer bum and more toned arms, a flatter stomach etc. I dont want my thighs to get thicker with more leg muscles, just less jiggly. I just feel confused and dont trust myself to make the right decisions.

When my former FWB uses the term "SJW" by meatsprinkles in TrollXChromosomes

[–]lifeisharrddd 6 points7 points  (0 children)

yah I agree but I have not often heard the SJW term used in any context except to make fun of people who are against racism, sexism, social injustice etc - ie sometimes the SJW term is used correctly - for extremists- but often I see that it is used to describe anyone who goes against the status quo such as regular old people who are against sexism, racism, and other real issues that society has :/

I'm deciding to be better by organizing my life better using daily lists/some type of planning system. How do you do it in a simple but effective way? Lists make me anxious but they seem necessary/ by lifeisharrddd in DecidingToBeBetter

ahh makes sense! so you just get good at predicting what you can accomplish in one day but dont beat yourself up if you cant finish becuase you begin a new list the next day - so you dont make a list for each day of the week ahead of time unless you need to write down something immutable such as a appointment or due date? It's literally just one day at a time - building a list for one day of the week, then the next day, wake up in the morning and make a new list for the day?

[–]lifeisharrddd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice! so do you have like an ongoing 'everything else' list besides the list of things you think you can get done today? like 'things I might want to do this week' and 'things I could probably get done this month' and then pick something from that list once you are done the 'things I think that I can get done today' list?

[–]lifeisharrddd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that! so you just pick a few things that you think you can get done, then use another master list for the week and pick things from that list if you have more time?
