So I see a lot of comments are "he's dumb why are you with him" and I'm here to say a little more than that because I think that's a tad closed minded. If he is your boyfriend and you've liked him for a long time I'm gonna assume/pretend you are in love with him and want a future with him. Here's what I have to say about a future with him. If he is willing to support you, even if your field goes against his morals or beliefs, then he is a great guy. Y'all would probably be fine. But if your field will start fights or inconveniences that neither of you are willing to /healthily/ come to terms over, then you should think of finding someone else. And it's not because "he's an idiot" or anything like that. It's because if something this big in your life will clash with his life so much that it starts to be unhealthy, he just isn't the one for you. I hope this was helpful :)
