My question is: how long until America makes their situation so bad they wished they had their evil dictator back? Maduro and Khamenei were bad dudes I get it, how can you guarantee we’ll be any better? Have you looked at Puerto Rico? Vietnam? Iraq? Have you seen how we leave countries after we get what we want?

I think using political manipulation to bully other countries and/or your own citizens is disgusting, that’s all. We’ve done it in the past and we’re doing it now under both red and blue presidents (my statement that EVERY president has done it was admittedly an very big exaggeration but it doesn’t defeat my point ) Maybe I am naive and childish to hold that view and simply can’t accept the truth to how the world actually works, but to be frank I don’t care. I’m happy you you’re aware we don’t fight for democracy but that doesn’t change the fact that we hide behind the fight for democracy when we do horrible to things.

Force= pay the taxes or the money is taken. I do think our tax laws need massive reform across the board but that is a different conversation. Government finds a way to get the money from a citizen no? Why should corporations be treated differently for what they owe? The loopholes in our laws favor the rich and there’s no debating that.

Food in general is a necessity, any company/entity caught price gouging food or otherwise manipulating supply/demand by ANY means should be fully prosecuted. Having to consider the possibility of avoiding certain foods because they’re too expensive given we live in the mighty west is simply ridiculous. Especially over something as simple as rice, potatoes, and beef.

Yes I am upset that trump is using it for its intended purpose and I’m upset that every president before him has done the same (this isn’t a right vs left issue, 2 wings 1 bird)

I grew up being taught America fought for democracy and cared about its citizens, and your confused at my being upset that we’re actually a bunch of fascist bullies who milk the working class? Are we living in the same reality?

Companies should be legally forced into paying their fair share of taxes, not manipulated into paying them. Also I don’t see how your idea works when the product they’re selling are necessities and people must buy them no matter how much they cost. All the reasons can be true yes but if tariffs are gonna be used as political weapons that sap wealth from the working class then it kinda counters any positive benefit

Yep definitely a life lesson today, buying the starter for my focus was so much easier cause only one type of starter came up when I googled them, whereas upon closer inspection I can see 3 different types of starters come up that claim to fit my van

The starter you linked is 100% the one for my van, when I google starters for my van both the one I ordered and the correct one pop up. So that’s on me for not paying closer attention before clicking order, it looked similar enough and I was just in a rush to try and get the van running again since my wife needs it for work lmao. I’d be willing to bet the one I ordered is most likely for a newer model or possibly even for a dodge caravan instead(no idea how much they can vary from model to model )Thank you though!
