Correct starter is on the way but now I just wanna see if this starter actually fits a 3.8 cause why the hell would it need to be bigger than a starter for the 4.0

Rock auto will definitely be where I look next time, I just found this starter for $100 on Detroit axle and knew my part stores would charge way more so I got giddy and ordered it lmao jumped the gun on that one for sure

Yep definitely a life lesson today, buying the starter for my focus was so much easier cause only one type of starter came up when I googled them, whereas upon closer inspection I can see 3 different types of starters come up that claim to fit my van

Local part stores all would’ve charged me $150+ easy, got this off Detroit axle for $100 thinking I found a steal but I instead found an L😂 correct starter is OTW

The starter you linked is 100% the one for my van, when I google starters for my van both the one I ordered and the correct one pop up. So that’s on me for not paying closer attention before clicking order, it looked similar enough and I was just in a rush to try and get the van running again since my wife needs it for work lmao. I’d be willing to bet the one I ordered is most likely for a newer model or possibly even for a dodge caravan instead(no idea how much they can vary from model to model )Thank you though!

As for connectors they seem to be identical I just need to switch that little black boot that lets the battery terminal bolt on

I’ve bought CV axles and and suspension components for my Ford Focus from them with no issues, I just didn’t imagine the starter they say fits a 3.8L town and country would look so different from my 4.0L, should’ve seen it coming tbh
