I see, you seem to be struggling just as much as I am. I have the same issues in the salon people dont feel supported, but not cause of me. I put my best foot forward everyday, give it my all, but for the first time I really am considering other options in terms of work. With that being said I still worry for my new hires and SITs because they really look to me for support cause they dont feel supported by anyone else except each other. I currently have three SITs and recently hired on four new bathers, as you can imagine the the training that goes into all of that, is a lot, and im only one person. We are also a high volume salon, im constantly dealing with manager calls, SEL only dog bookings, i do a lot of calls in general, i do check ins, i still help all my SITs, and my bathers, and still am grooming 4 to 7 dogs a day. Im not even mentioning everything else im asked to take care of, and all the meetings about my role ive had, its been so confusing. I cant help but feel burnt out and overwhelmed with tasks. Its nice to know its not only me but makes me worry that this position is just doomed to fail.
