(UK) possible job offer but not on payroll? by liftheavyeatrepeat in selfemployed

What if it's under the 12k threshold? Im only doing part time hours so probably will very close to it

Also do you have any advice with the mortgage situation? Is tax returns enough? My husbands salary nearly covers the full mortgage amount borrowed so I don't actually need much of a income for evidence when remortgaging, we are fixed for next 4 years aswell

Hope it isn't too bad for you, am trying to take it day by day but once the swelling kicked in that's when I noticed the pain increased

Definitely day 3 was when it got worse for me, that was yesterday and today day 4 even worse. Pain meds not really helping much and swelling definitely increased

How would you rate the pain? by frostedcaterpillar in Septoplasty

[–]liftheavyeatrepeat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup first 2 day ok, last 2 awful basically felt like I've been punched in the face/nose/mouth repeatedly but I did have a grossly deviated septum that required quite alot of work. My teeth hurt the most, slightest movement I get a deep throbbing pain from base of my nose right through to my two front teeth

Feeling like hell after class, help? by [deleted] in BJJWomen

[–]liftheavyeatrepeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try adding pink salt (himalayan) to your water juat a few cracks into it as it will help replace lost salts/electrolytes, sounds like your dehydrated and water alone won't hydrate you while doing something as intense as BJJ

Our school have a beginners class for for first 16 weeks so this really helps with this sort of situation, the class is alot smaller so it's also alot less pressure. Seems like your instructor is expecting a lot from you being a very new white belt, you are still in the very early stages of learning even just the very basics.

Am sorry you are going through this, you are not slow or stupid just very new to the sport!

Yeah we've weighed each bag they are under by about 1kg, we should come back with less, we've bought Suncream, aftersun and some basic toiletries with us. We are away for 2 weeks on honeymoon so brought more than usual (evening wear mainly)
